Since you are a pervert, your theological commentary is jaded and polluted and therefore worthless. God doesn’t send anyone to hell. People send themselves to hell by their sinful actions. Your lack of respect for the dignity of womanhood will be your ticket to perdition. Furthermore, who ever said God was “all compassionate?” Indeed he is merciful, but he is also just. When he calls sexual perversion a punishable sin, he means it. Look at yourself — riddled with hatred against everything that is good. In a sense, you’re already in a hell of hate. Actual flames can’t be too far behind.
The Roman Catholic church, in addition to distorting the Ten Commandments, disregards many other areas of Bible teachings: Jesus is the intermediary between humans and God. We’re told to pray directly to the Father (meaning God) through the Son, Jesus yet the Roman Catholic church teaches that the Priest and Pope etc. are the way to pray to God. The Roman Catholic church also believes it necessary for a Priest to officiate at ALL weddings yet the Bible maintains that only God is required to join a man and a woman in matrimony. How about the commandment to observer the Sabbath and to keep the Sabbath day holy? The Commandment does not say anything about keeping Sunday holy yet Roman Catholics all keep Sunday in mind instead of the Sabbath. How about forgiveness of sin? The Roman Catholic church thinks the Priest or Pope etc. is needed for a sinner to gain God’s forgiveness. Jesus is the single and only way for each of us to be forgiven. We are to pray to God through Jesus. The Priest or Pope etc. is not needed for us to petition God. Only Jesus is needed to speak directly to God.
The First Commandment: “I AM the Lord thy God. Thou Shalt Not have strange gods before Me.”
The Second Commandment: “Thou Shalt Not Take the Name of the Lord Thy God in Vain.” i.e. cursing, swearing, blasphemy, cussing, etc.
If you are against the creation of statues and holy icons, claiming that they are somehow idolatrous, I must point out a rather obvious flaw in such reasoning. God says that we are not to build idols or to worship them as false gods. BUT God also instructed Moses to build the Ark of the Covenant with TWO GOLD CHERUBIM on either side. Obvious, therefore, God is not anti-statue. Rather, the Catholic principle of sacramentals comes into play.
Honor given to the Saints or worship given to God, when paid TO THE PERSON that the image REPRESENTS is okay. Idolatry occurs when you start to honor or worship the image for itself. BIG DIFFERENCE.
