A Bit to Bite 10/10/13

(Before It's News)

A piece of spirit bread to chew and meditate on.

Ishua/Jesus Christ, the Son of God, only spoke the truth, right?

He repeatedly told his disciples to expect His return/parousia in their lifetime and they took Him at His word, believed Him. Even Paul was convinced of that, seeing that he wrote:”  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.”1 Thess.4:15. He expected to still be alive at the Lords return.

Therefore, by denying His return before AD100, we at the very least twist Ishuas words and thereby say we know better what He said than His disciples, which is vanity in extreme, if not outright disbelief.

On the other hand, by accepting their testimony, most of us will be at loggerheads with traditional teaching.

Which is the better way to follow?
