Yes, God is a God of love. But God is also a God of justice. The Bible tells us that God will reward believers with eternal life in His kingdom and cast unbelievers into the lake of fire for eternity. One might say that even someone like Hitler would be punished enough after burning in the lake of fire for thousands or millions of years. One could make the argument that a just God could come up with some formula that would determine the length of time any individual spent burning in hell for the sins they committed in their life. However, if God did that—coming up with an equation to calculate the time someone would spend in torment based on the sins they committed in their earthly life—then to be fair, for those who are saved, God would have to come up with an equation to calculate the time they would partake in the glorious kingdom of God based upon whatever good they may have done in their life. In such a scenario, torment and rewards would be for a finite period of time and based upon works. However, that is not what God promises. God speaks about eternal damnation and eternal rewards. If you make the argument that a person who sinned doesn’t deserve eternal punishment, then that argument is counterbalanced by the fact that whatever good a person may have done in their lifetime doesn’t merit an eternal reward. So God balances the scale of justice by weighing eternal damnation on one side against eternal reward on the other. Whether we like it or not, what we will be dealing with in the afterlife is eternity. I for one am glad that God hands out eternal sentences. Not because people will burn in the lake of fire forever, but because I can look forward to ruling and reigning with Jesus for all time to come.

The two-tiered caste system (Clergy and Laity), demands that the church member (laity) must submit to and show reverence toward their Pope, priest, or minister (clergy). They must accept whatever the clergy teaches. For this reason, the bigger sin is committed by these so-called ministers, who can rightly be compared to career politicians (whose allegiance is to their political party, and not to those to whom they represent). These, having been educated in the Bible, are much better equipped to know the truth of the Scriptures, if they truly desire it. The problem is that these “ordained” ministers have sworn an oath to uphold their denomination’s doctrinal beliefs. They know that they dare not take any step of questioning these beliefs, for to do so, the repercussions would be most unpleasant for them. They would be removed from their highly respected job, and replaced by someone who will tow the party line. They would no longer be addressed by the esteemed titles of Reverend, Bishop, Pastor, Doctor, etc., and they would be unable to continue their current lifestyle, that has conveniently provided them with nice clothing, fancy cars, and luxurious homes. Also, a minister’s wife, unaccustomed to the loss of income, might not appreciate their husband’s actions, and choose with the church’s blessing, to divorce him. These are those to whom the Lord addresses when he said, “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?” Allow the Lord to be the judge of every man’s faithfulness. However, if a “Christian” does not hunger and thirst for truth and righteousness, how can he claim to have God’s Spirit? If a “believer” is not willing to follow the Lord, no matter how high the cost, how can he claim to be his servant? (Matthew 7:22,23; 16:24; John 10:27).

The Hebrew Tanakh is identical to the Protestant Old Testament. The only difference is the order in which the Books are arranged. Now is that a fact, or did I just invent the statement and lie into your face? A mystery which perhaps you should seek to solve. You wrote:

It is true that the Almighty identified Himself to Moses as ‘ehyeh asher ehyeh’, which translates very loosely and very insufficiently into English as ‘I AM THAT I AM.’ It is also true that YHWH has given His Name as YHWH. The Name ‘YHWH’ translates into English (again, loosely and insufficiently) as “HE WHO IS.” YHWH DOES NOT translate as “Lord” or as “LORD” unless you are a translator with an agenda of subterfuge; an agenda of obfuscation of HIS NAME.
Let us look again at the level to which your arguments have deteriorated. On another article dealing with banking and monetary policy (the link to which can be found in one of my comments above), you began an absurdly obtuse comment (even by your standards) by stating:

God is a holy God and a consuming fire. In God’s holy presence, sin is consumed in the fire. And so on the Day of Judgment, God’s presence will burn up all that are unholy and unrighteous.
