Now around the time of the Christian era what was happening? The Age of Aries was coming to a close and the Age of Pisces was beginning. So people were thinking in terms of the “world” ending at that time when in fact it was merely a time of change between the precessional “Ages”.
Millerism split up after the great disappointments in 1844 and a woman by the name of Ellen G. White started having visions to solve these issues and started up the Seventh Day Adventist church.
