The important part of Biblical prophesy is the fact that the ones for end times needed to all come together at the same time, in concert with each other, developong in the same general time. Like Jesus predicted, they would develope and increase in intensity like birth pains. They are developing now to a breath-taking pace.
We have been heading this way for a long time. Remember the rapture will take place in the blink of an eye.

Those of you who regularly watch The Hal Lindsey Report are familiar with the description Jesus used of the last days. He said the occurrence of the signs of those approaching days will increase in frequency and intensity just as a woman’s birth pangs increase in frequency and intensity the closer she gets to delivering her newborn.
By associating those signs with birth pangs, it’s not uncommon to assume the signs to which Jesus referred must be painful. Not so. In fact, some of the “signs of the times” may occur with few Christians even recognizing them or acknowledging them.
I’m going to discuss two of those “signs of the last days” on this week’s program. They are unmistakable when viewed in the larger scope of end-times prophecy, but when blended in to the everyday rough and tumble of life, they may go unnoticed.
The first is the alarming speed with which our privacy (and the liberty it brings) is being eroded. It is a fact of life today that we are all being constantly monitored. If you have a cellphone, a tablet, even a computer on the internet, you are being watched 24/7 by either our government, a foreign government, or criminals — and sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between them!
Just this week, The Washington Post revealed that, “The National Security Agency is gathering nearly 5 billion records a day on the whereabouts of cellphones around the world… enabling the agency to track the movements of individuals — and map their relationships — in ways that would have been previously unimaginable.”
And CNN.com discussed,”…how facial recognition could help fight crime.” Facial recognition software and an expanding sea of surveillance cameras means that we can be (and often are) tracked almost constantly.
Even the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office, in introducing its newest surveillance satellite, chose as its motto: “Nothing is beyond our reach.”
But you may say, “Why should I fear government intrusion on my privacy? I have nothing to hide.” The question is not whether you have anything to hide, it’s does the government THINK you have anything to hide.
Remember that recently the U.S. Department of Defense has begun teaching seminars to members of our military that list evangelical Christians and Catholics as “subversive groups.”
To coin a phrase, these developments are “Antichristish” — chilling, eerie, and vaguely evil-feeling.
CNN.com declares that Americans are willing to embrace these technologies — and sacrifice their privacy and liberty — because Big Brother makes them feel that they and their families will be safer. We embrace Big Brother. Then Big Brother embraces us.
After the conclusion of the recent nuclear agreement between the P5+1 and Iran, I put this message on my website (www.hallindsey.com ): “Saturday, November 23rd, in Geneva, Switzerland, the United States of America sent a clear message to the major powers of the Middle East: ‘Gentlemen, start your centrifuges.’”
In short, a new atomic weapons race began on that day in what is already the most volatile part of the world. Planet earth will never be the same.
By caving in to his desire for some sort of “legacy” to justify his long-forgotten and premature Nobel Peace Prize — or maybe just to divert attention from his massive domestic failures and woes — President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry succeeded in doing something quite remarkable. They allowed the mullahs to convince them to give Iran everything it wanted in exchange for NOTHING. Not even the release of the American pastor they’re holding in Iran.
To be fair, it can’t be easy to complete a protracted historic negotiation, walk away with nothing, and declare it a resounding success. That certainly has a vaguely Bavarian ring of familiarity to it, doesn’t it?
Nonetheless, the fact that Iran will soon have the ability to construct not one, but several, atomic bombs — and we’ve tacitly given them our blessing to do so — changes the complexion of the prophetic scenario. It speeds it up considerably.
But maybe not in the way you’re thinking. Because the leadership of Iran — its presidents and its real rulers, the Ayatollahs — have loudly and frequently declared their intention to “wipe Israel off the map,” some assume that the next major event may be their attempt to do so. But remember that the Bible declares with no uncertainty that Israel will NOT be destroyed as a nation or a people.
That means that something or someone will stop Iran from accomplishing its evil aims. And it’s going to be exciting to see exactly how God accomplishes that.
Stay tuned!

You can always tell a Christian, they are all odiously arrogant claiming knowledge of the unknowable, and they all have a god complex demanding you take their lead.
Hal Lindsey is still AROUND? So far nothing he said in the Late Great Planet Earth has come true. But he is still hoping Israel will become the richest nation on earth just as soon as they find oil fields nearby.
