First Apostolic Epistle of St. Peter Pt1 begins with the greatest entreaty doctrine of the election of the believers through Jesus Christ. Begotten to a lively Hope, the remnant to whom Peter was addressing were living in a Roman society that like America was basically unclean. That is, walking in the excess and lusts of the flesh.

It is to these believers, that suffered in the Roman society both at the hands of the Gentiles and at the workings of the Jews who opposed this Way. There is no doubt that Peter in his Apostolic Authority through the Holy Ghost gave the early church believers the real vision, hope, and truth of the inheritance of the Saints in light.
