  • As a FORMER Catholic, I found out the Bible says NOT to pray repetitive prayers!
The Bible also says not to try to contact the spirits, which are really demons and devils! All through the Bible it says when people die (Bible calls it sleep), their spirit (breath of God) goes back to God, and their bodies return to dust, and they KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEIR RELATIVES OR WHAT IS HAPPENING ON EARTH! Read Ecclesiastes.
The breath of God is what makes everyone a living soul, and even calls ANIMALS living souls, in Genesis……we don’t have souls….we ARE living souls, until we die.
The Bible also talks about how Israel worshipped “The Queen of Heaven”, a title Catholics give Mary, and how they WERE PUNISHED, for doing so! God considers this an abomination, something the Israelites learned to do from THE PAGANS!

Mary went on to have OTHER CHILDREN after she had Jesus….in that time, all first born males were dedicated to God.
And Revelation says Jesus is the first fruit, the only one who, as yet, has risen from the dead, and entered Heaven so far, to sit at the right hand of the Father.
Many people think our dead relatives go to heaven now, because of what Jesus said to the thief when He was crucified, but the original writings had no punctuation, and the translators placed a comma in a spot where it appears Jesus told the thief That he would be with Jesus TODAY, in paradise. BUT even Jesus didn’t enter into paradise that day…..instead, He spent 3 days in the GRAVE, until He was resurrected! If you move the comma to the correct place, it would read “I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.” Which confirms Revelation.
The Bible says the Bereans checked the scripture to verify what they were being told, and that is what we should be doing!
