With all the talk about the Vatican and their Lucifer telescope, admitting to alien watching and star gazing, it should come as no suprise that as Egypt is restoring its relationship with the Vatican, a mysteriously close up video is released showing UFO’s in full detail in EGYPT! Why is it a mystery? Because no one will step up to the plate and take ownership of the video, it can’t be authenticated!
Is it just a fabulous fake? Released previously? Or, is it real, and if so, is there any connection to the Pope? Is the ‘False Prophet’ being greeted joyfully by his fellow ‘nephilim’ demons? Or, is it just sheer coincidence?
I honestly do not know, as I have never come acrossed it before. You tell me, and then, you decide!

“Awesome Time Wasters” is the category that comes closest to these posts. I find it hard to believe the ‘likes’ on this story and I am led to the conclusion that either the majority of Americans are insane and just ripe for the appearance of the antichrist or the figures are rigged.

BS. Jesus preached as essential criteria for entry into heaven, to sell everything you own, give the proceeds to the poor and follow him like a disciple. Thus proving your faith that your ‘deity’ will provide. He also preached as essential criteria for entry into heaven, to practice all the old Israelite laws better than the law keepers, (not to be confused with Judaism that was invented after 70 CE), which would include the over 100 laws on ritual animal sacrifices.
I don’t know of a single person who practices anything Jesus preached…. do you?

My students are not all Catholics, but from all beliefs including Buddhists, Hindu’s, Muslims. etc. It’s a broad course involving historical context. It’s not the only course I lecture on, I’m an anthropologist not a hypocritical religious apologist. All I bring to the table is reality in historical artifacts, the historical context of religious dogma.
Unlike religion, I don’t tell my students what to believe, but to examine the evidence and make their own conclusions. If they can’t handle the truth like adults, they should pack up and go back to their parents.
Jesus preached the essential criteria to enter heaven was to obey the ten commandments. Nothing more nothing less. Only when the young man said he already did that from his youth did Jesus after “he looked at him and loved him” in response to his reply, say “if you would be perfect sell all you have and give it to the poor and come follow me.”
God the Father Himself said after he had given the ten commandments “Do this and you will live.” He was talking about eternal life. Jesus died to bridge the gap between fulllflillng the ten Commandments and failure to do so, through faith in him and repentance. That is what salvation is all about.

Faith and repentance do not perfect us overnight either. We still sin. We are handicapped by our corrupt nature. St Paul is held out as the rare breed of overnight conversion. But his overnight conversion took three years before he was able to begin his ministry and even then he was not perfect. He was perfected only by the long struggle of his ministry culminating in his crucifixion, I believe, or at least martyrdom.
Pix we are living in the time of the great apostacy and falling away from the true faith you would do well to read about it in Paul to the Thessoloneans chapter 2, where he describes exactly what is happening now and about to happen. These are historical times for the world and the church, so much of what you say regarding the state of the faith today is true. But there is still a growing number that are not deceived by Satan, who by their love for the truth, will be saved.

But most certainly he displays sarcasm in the words of the bible. If you have missed that part of his personality, a literature major who is well versed might bring that to life.
Also, have you ever noticed that the book of Job has a touch of sarcasm?
Seems that most critiques read the Bible like its a list of facts or rules. Where every word must be scrutinized and examined.
Rather it should be read for what its is…….people behaving like people with all their cornucopia of behaviors. And Gods Word for those of us who love Him.

Jesus preached as essential criteria for entry into heaven to “practice ALL the old Israelite laws better than the law keepers”. not just the 10 commandments, one would have to ask which set of 10 commandments are you talking about?.. there are many.
Jesus also preached to love your enemy as yourself. To hate your life, your mother, father, brothers, sisters, the entire world. Twice he said you should “sell everything you own and give the proceeds to the poor, and follow him like a disciple, thus you would be proving your claims of faith that your ‘deity’ will provide.

All the evidence says it’s the same ancient story as Mithra, Horus, Zoroaster, Dionysus, Krishna and loads of others. Same story, different places using their own names. Modern example, Catholicism, Christianity, Baptists, Adventists etc are all based on the bible and all believe the same story.
It’s as old as the hills. So no Jesus was not a “living breathing person”, but a totemic representation describing the nature of an astronomical phenomena, an allegory. The bible gives it’s own game away, unless of course you think there was a literal talking snake and donkey. In which case, do yourself a favour, go back to school and pay attention.
