The Catholic Church is always the final authority on the discernment of prophecy and religious matters. This article, however, is the first piece of evidence I have discovered to suggest that perhaps “Pastor Enoc” could be a false prophet. As such, I have pulled all stories pertaining to his messages and urge my fellow Catholics (for the time being) to avoid them.
Be extra careful in discerning prophecy personally when the Church has made no official statement. Satan sows false prophecy everywhere so that true prophecy will become dilluted and lose it’s effect.
It would be prudent also, I think, to stick only with those prophecies and apparitions which are certainly credible i.e. Fatima, La Sallette, Akita, Lourdes, etc.
When faced with a “seer” purporting to have visions or locutions, let us ask ourselves, “Does this person submit to the investigation of Church authorites?” If no, then let the “prophet” be dismissed. All prophecy must be weighed in light of the infallible teachings of the One, True Church founded by Jesus Christ.
