  • There are many additional prophecies which have been fulfilled and that should be mentioned:
    1) Israel will be surrounded by armies. This could not have been fulfilled until the nation Israel was created in 1948.
    2) A 200,000,000 man military is prophesied. Prior to the 1960s no political entity existed with such a large military force. Now, China has an army this large. The Islamic nations of the Earth could create a conglomerate army that is 200,000,000 troops.
    3) Unless God intervenes man could destroy himself. Prior to the creation of the A-bomb man didn’t have ability to destroy himself. Now man can truly destroy himself.
    4) We are told the temple will be rebuilt. To date the Jews do not have property rights sufficient to build the 3rd temple on Mt. Moriah (the temple mount). The Vatican has recently realized ‘legal’ rights to the holy land and to the temple mount. The world clamor for ‘peace’ in the middle east may soon result in the ‘Covenant With Many’ for 7 years of ‘Peace and Safety’. For Israel to finalize a ‘treaty’ it is probable that they will require the right to build the 3rd temple. In May 2014 the Roman Catholic Pope will be in Jerusalem. Maybe that papal visit will unlock the key to an Israel Peace Treaty.
There are other prophecies which must yet be fulfilled but the speed with which things have come to pass makes me believe we are very, very near the tribulation, God’s battle with Satan, followed by Jesus’ return to Earth.
