If you did not need to know about this, then Jesus would never have warned us to watch the signs, nor would many of the books, including Revelation, be in the Bible. Furthermore, aren’t you, as a Christian, required to warn people of what is to come so that they will not be misled? You must stop thinking of yourself and start thinking of others! We are keeping our eyes on Jesus and doing God’s work at the same time.
Wait! You are a pre-tribulation believer! “I won’t be here, praise God! I’ll be swept away and on my way home! Glory to God!” Foolishness! Tell that to all the people who have both died or suffered greatly as a result of a tragic disaster—whether by hurricane, earthquake, tsunami, or Christian persecution! Were they ‘swept away’ without suffering? Was Peter, Paul, or Jesus Himself (who knew no sin) caught up without suffering? Are you better than they?
You reply, “God did not appoint us to wrath!” You’re right. He did not. Let’s go review the below passage together:
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11—But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. God wants us to NOT be ignorant! We are being given signs to watch for so that this day should not take us by surprise, so that we can be ‘prepared’ in every way! We are to be awake and be watching the signs, and to be ready!
Let’s look at these passages here, again:
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
Why will we need comfort and edification if nothing stressful or bad is going to happen? We were not appointed to wrath because we have been given the gift of salvation, given us by Jesus Christ! He is our blessed hope, that in and through ALL things we have the confidence that we will spend eternity at home with the Father. This is not a promise that none of us will suffer and/or die. If that were the case, then no Christians who have ever lived since that passage was written would have ever suffered or died.
No matter what your tribulation theory, you MUST be prepared physically and spiritually. To not do so is an act of severe ignorance and negligence to you and your loved ones! Things are happening quickly!
Mock, scorn, ridicule, laugh, blaspheme, and spew hatred—you will SOON find out how wrong you are. You will beg and plead for a second chance, but you will NOT be given one. You see, God has given you many chances already, and even still gives you more. But what if today or tomorrow is your last chance? Things prophetically are coming to a head, and at an unprecedented pace! That is why right now, God is pleading with the nations for repentance. Will you listen, or will you keep turning a deaf ear?

And utter His voice from His holy habitation;

There are 3 woes in the Book of Revelation (REV 8:13). In the 1st woe, which lasts 5 months, Abaddon, or the Destroyer (REV 9:11), comes on the scene. During the first woe, no one dies, though many will wish they could (see REV 9:6). But many, many, many will die in the 2nd and 3rd woes (Trumpets 6 and 7). There are 4 angels bound right now at the Euphrates river. When they are loosed, they will kill a third of all mankind (see REV 9:14-15, this is during the time of the second woe). The 2nd woe consists of the 1260 day (REV 11:3) ministry of the two who are one. Their 1260 days coincides with the 1260 days of the Antichrist (Mr. 666). Then at the conclusion of the 1260 days of the two witnesses, at the conclusion of the 2nd woe, the 3rd woe will come quickly thereafter (REV 11:14). The 3rd woe occurs simultaneously with, and in concert with, the Second Coming (rapture). So it is at the conclusion of the 2nd woe that the 3rd woe/Second Coming will be truly imminent, right at the door (Matthew 24:33).
At the advent of the 3rd woe, at the sounding of the 7th trumpet (REV 11:15), there will be “a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great” (REV 16:18). And Christ will come riding on the clouds (REV 1:7) in a more than awesome burst of power and glory to set up the eternal kingdom of God at the glorious conclusion and climatic and cataclysmic exclamation point at the end of the age known as the Second Coming of Christ!

Do I deny its content? No, just the assignment of characters.

By early post-biblical times, the name of Yahweh had ceased to be pronounced. In modern Judaism, it is replaced with the word Adonai, meaning Lord, and is understood to be God’s proper name and to denote his mercy.[6] Many Christian Bibles follow the Jewish custom and replace it with “the LORD”.
Prior to becoming the national god of Israel and taking on monotheistic attributes in the 6th century BCE, Yahweh was part of the Canaanite pantheon.

Why don’t we simply clarify the issue? One is either with the Lord Jesus, or with Satan. There are no other choices. I believe the very idea of Satanism is an apologetic to much Satanic, this idea, “Well, it’s not true we worship Satan!”, that some false belief system doesn’t sacrifice goats and wear pentagrams or whatever, the idea this means it’s not of Satan: this is false and very deceptive.
Anything sinful is in rebellion to obedience to God and Satanic. Even a person who loves football more than God, football may as well be Satan. Lack of faith of the atheist may as well be belief in Satan. Against Christ is with Satan, by default. It is the will of Satan and the purpose of Satan to turn you away from Jesus Christ by whatever available means, destroy you and damn your soul. Much enticing that seems the truth, even sweet in this world, is Satanic poison that damns, lures you into sin and false beliefs, distracts you from confronting your need of a Savior and coming to the Lord Jesus Christ. You die this way, you may as well have worshiped Satan: if you spent your life absorbed in stamp collecting, at the expense of acknowledging your God, you may as well have been singing praises to Satan.
So the critical fact, anything and everything that would distract or detract from and lead a person away from Jesus Christ may as well be Satanism. If anything, at least those few openly Satanic are honest, know the master they serve, unlike the masses of the deluded or fake Christians who believe they can live with just one foot in hell.

If, as the Bible clearly states, despite how this wicked world doesn’t want to hear anything “politically incorrect,” but God Himself clear on this, if there is one way to salvation, and one only, if Jesus Christ holds the keys to heaven or hell for all, what is the difference between being damned for worshiping Satan, and being damned for being a common idiot, clinging to delusions or some other smutty sin? If you die in your sin and are damned, whoever you are, are you better off than Satan? I think not. Therefore, that something isn’t Satanism which, nonetheless, leads away from Christ, is wholly a meaningless point.
