The Day of Darkness – Signs in the Heavens? (Video)
Three centuries ago in parts of North America, a strange event turned morning to night. It remains wreathed in mystery – so what caused the Dark Day?
Halfway through the morning the sky turns yellow. Animals run for cover and darkness descends, causing people to light candles and start to pray. By lunchtime night has fallen. Is it the end of the world?
The Dark Day, as it’s become known, took place on May 19, 1780 in New England and parts of eastern Canada. For the past 232 years historians and scientists have argued over the origins of this strange event

The extent of the darkness was also very remarkable. It was observed at the most eastern regions of New England; westward, to the farthest part of Connecticut, and southward at Albany, it was observed all along the sea coast; and to the north, as far as the American settlements extended. It probably far exceeded those boundaries, but the exact limits were never positively known. With regard to its duration, it continued in the neighborhood of Boston for at least fourteen or fifteen hours.
One thing is necessary.
What you have been told about the sun is false. The sun is not a nuclear furnace constrained by gravity, as Sir Arthur Eddington first hypothesized, whilst simultaneously drawing our attention to the inconsistencies in the theory.

The sun was also extinguished ( this is what happened on that day in 1780 ) on another occasion; the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, when darkness was upon the whole earth for several hours.
You have to become aware of the fact that the surface of the sun has been remotely measured as being at a temperature of 5000 degrees, whereas 200 km above its surface, it is at a temperature of hundreds of millions of degrees. This is completely inconsistent with a body whose energy comes from within. Thus, the inescapable conclusion is that the sun’s energy comes from without.
It arrives via the Birkeland Currents which can be seen spiralling between galaxies.
The sun is therefore more akin to an electric light bulb in an electrical circuit, than what you have been told. As such, it can be switched off and on again, or dimmed, as required by its Creator, that same Holy One of God, whose Name has been blasphemed day by day, and night by night, since man first came upon the earth.
Amos 8, 9 and Joel 2, 31 also speak of a coming day when the sun will once more be switched off; “For behold, the day cometh saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day”.
This event will presage the Day of the Lord, the day of God’s vengeance on ungodly men and women.
