Chapter 11, verses 40-45 of the Book of Daniel are quire clear in their assertion that it is the “king of the South” that initiates the conflict…
The “king of the South”—the United States and its allies—initiates the conflict with the “king of the North” (Russia and its allies); and, thus, is primarily responsible for the conflict.
The “king of the North” retaliates.
