He sent forth His prophets to reason with and to warn the people. But His prophets were brutally beaten, imprisoned, and murdered. Then He sent forth His Son … not to judge the sinner, but to save the sinner. And through His Son He extends an offer. An offer to save each of us from the second death (which the Bible warns is the eternal darkness, aloneness, and torment of Hell) and to hide and shelter those who are waiting in faith from the great and awesome “Day of the Lord” … the coming Apocalypse. Can’t happen. The moon has no light of it’s own, if the sun turned dark, so would the moon and everything else in our solar system. It’s all reflected light from the sun, no light, no reflection.
