John Little – OmegaShock.com

OmegaShock.com has been in existence for more than three years, and it has been an eye-opening experience for me. I have run into almost every kind of theory about what the Bible says, and it has been disheartening to see how few of them actually conform to what is in the Bible. And, it’s disheartening not just because it is evidence of people lacking a love of the truth.

No, what is depressing is that these theories are placing people squarely in the path of disaster, and there seems to be nothing that anyone can do or say to nudge such people out of harm’s way.

Your Theories Will Not Protect You

The Kingdom of God is a big place, and it encompasses many who strongly disagree with each other. In fact, quite a few people are going to be surprised at who is in the Kingdom of God, and who isn’t. It certainly can tolerate quite a bit of disagreement over many things.

That’s why I embrace many as my brothers or sisters in Christ, even though they think that I am dead-wrong about certain parts of the Bible. After all, I HAVE been dead-wrong about some things, so I’m more than happy to entertain the thought that I’m ‘dead-wrong’ about something else. In fact, I’m 100% sure that I’m wrong about SOMETHING.

However, there is one set of ideas that I cannot be ‘dead-wrong’ about:

  • Jesus is God.

  • He came and died for our sins.

  • Belief in Him and a heart for obedience to Him are required for eternal life.

If you disagree with any one of those things, you are not in the Kingdom of God, and there is only one place for you when you die.

It is true that there are a host of other issues that are extremely important, and disagreeing with the Bible over those issues does place a question mark over your eternal condition – but, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you aren’t saved. At least… I don’t think so.

Please remember that I’m not the one that you need to convince.

About The Last Days

The interpretation of prophecies that talk about The Last Days is far down the list of important issues, when compared to eternal security. Within certain limits, you can pretty much believe a lot of different stuff about the Last Days, and it won’t change the fact that you are saved and a child of God.

(But, be careful. There is still Revelation 22:18-19.)

However, just because the interpretation of Last Days events doesn’t have a bearing on whether you are saved, or not… well, that doesn’t mean that this isn’t an important issue. After all more than a quarter of the Bible deals with the time that we are living in, right now. So, this IS important.

It’s also important because there are consequences for getting it wrong. God didn’t consult with you about how ‘The Last Days’ should go. He has His plan laid out in the Bible. He told us His plan, and it is up to you to get it right.

Get it wrong, and you die.

Did you get the implications of what I just said?

Get It Wrong And you Die

You have your theory about how everything is going to happen in the period of time that we call ‘The Last Days’. If your theory is wrong, you will die a terrible death, and everyone that you taught this theory to… well, they’ll die a terrible death, also.

Now, it’s true that death is not such a bad thing. We all die, and we all are looking forward to what comes after we die.

It’s About Serving God

The problem is that we have a job to do. We are here on this Earth to serve God. When you are dead, you are unable to fulfill the job that you have been called to do. I like to think of it as ‘laying down on the job’. No, actually, I believe that it’s worse than that.

Choosing to die early approaches the idea of disobedience.

We are to serve God for as long as we can, as much as we can. To do any less would be disobedient to God. And, disobedience is a sin.

Although, we should be careful to not take this idea too far.

Not About Serving Ourselves

People have accused me of just trying to help people in their carnal desire to avoid death. That is completely not the case. If you live a worthless, self-interested life, it would be better that you die now than continue in your sinful existence. So, I’m really only interested in helping save the lives of those who are truly seeking to serve the Lord with every breath that they take.

I believe that most of you feel the same way. A worthless life is not worth living.

This brings up another thought that has been creeping up on me recently.

This Is A Test

Think of what is coming as a test. Those who pass the test get to continue living and serving the Lord. Those that fail… well, God didn’t want you to continue passing your brand of Christianity on to others.

Seriously. Think about it.

If you aren’t able or willing to see what the Bible says about what is happening right now, God doesn’t want you around to cause trouble for those Christians who survive. Those who survive Ezekiel’s Fire will have a tough job on their hands, and the last thing that they’ll need is a bunch of slackers who want to talk theory.

Your Theories Will Not Save You

Please, get this right:

Your Theories Will Not Save You.

Do you understand that?

You can talk until you are blue in the face about a pre-tribulation rapture, and it won’t change the fact that you will still be here when the Solar Flare that I call Ezekiel’s Fire, hits the Earth.

For you post-tribbers, you can talk until you are blue in the face how you are the Israel of God and that the Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is the same Gog and Magog in Revelation 20. It won’t change the fact that you will still be here when that Solar Flare hits the Earth and takes you down.

Your Theories Will Not Save You.

You Will Stand Before God

You will also stand before the Lord one day and answer for the decisions that you make right now. Don’t tell me about how you have a theory that everything will work out for you. Don’t tell me how God has your back, and that you don’t need to do this… or that.

I’m not the one that you need to convince. If I had the ability to do so, I’d give you permission to believe what you want. But, God is holy and righteous, and He will NOT give you a ‘free pass’.

You either obey Him, or He will take you out of the way.

Are you going to obey?

Don’t try to argue with me about eschatology. I’m not the one that you need to convince.

God Is Not Impressed

Please understand that God is not impressed by your theories, or your reasoning ability. He doesn’t think that you are awesome because of how smart you are. In fact, all of that is a source for something that He hates – pride.

And, to my shame, I suffer from a lot of that which God despises.

I will keep trying to knock some sense into you while I have an Internet connection and fingers that can peck away at a keyboard. But, I don’t think that we have much time left for talking about this.

Either abandon your foolish theories and prepare for what’s coming…

…or die.

Those are your choices.

Are you ready for this?

(That’s a link. Do more than just think about it.)

  • Most people on here talk about there is going to be a lot of dead people this death that you speak of is not physical its spiritual.Men will seek death and will not find it because of shame when they finally see the truth. The antichrist will cause all to worship him except the elect
Luke 21:18 the antichrist cannot touch a hair on your head.So much for your theories. Read the Bible instead of guessing what’s going to happen Mark 13:23 Jesus foretold us all things.
