Why World War I still matters, 100 years after it began
I still remember my step grandfather, a WWI vet who married my Grandmother after my Grandfather died. They had been married over 50 years. He would regale me with stories of WWI. They were graphic, horror ridden, but also told a frank story of a young soldier trying to live through the horrible aspects of the bloody great war in Europe.
Now in this article we find the traceable roots of this Great War, not Great in good; per se, but Great in its climatic ability to shake the world with war. Tracing the current day aspects of war and violence we find political aspects and more that lend itself to this endtime war.
