Supported in the scripture above, God does speak to us in our dreams, and we must be in a deep sleep, which is the REM stage of sleep—stage five—in order for this to take place.

Laura Harris Smith believes that God speaks to us directly in our dreams. As I’ve mentioned above, it is clear that He does. But there is a war going on…a spiritual war! And the enemy is coming against people so that they do not hear from God, and one of the ways he can achieve this is by affecting our sleep.
According to the above passage, it’s when ‘deep’ sleep (REM Stage—stage five) falls upon us that He speaks. The problem today is that we aren’t getting proper sleep, and there are a number of reasons why we aren’t getting the right kind of sleep, and why we aren’t falling into that necessary ‘deep’ sleep the Bible speaks of.
NOT falling into a deep sleep can have grave impacts on your health as well. Some of the root causes of sleeplessness, or not falling into the deep (REM) sleep state, are stress, vitamin deficiencies, not going to bed at a descent hour, and more.

Here are the five stages of sleep in detail:
Stage One
Just as we are about to drift off, we experience Alpha and Theta, and have dream-like moments, similar to daydreaming, except we are just starting to fall asleep.
Stage Two
Now, the second stage of sleep usually lasts for approximately 20 minutes. This is the stage when our mind starts producing extremely short periods of rapid and rhythmic brain wave activity, commonly referred to as ‘sleep spindles’. In fact, the body’s temperature begins to drop and the heart rate slows down.
Stage Three
This is the transitional period that occurs between light sleep and a very deep sleep. Slow brain waves that are called ‘delta waves’ begin developing during this stage.
Stage Four
Oftentimes referred to as ‘delta sleep’, delta waves emerge during this time. This stage is a deep sleep that can usually last about 30 minutes. Coincidentally, this is the stage when sleepwalking and bed-wetting occur.
Stage Five—REM (Rapid Eye Movement)
This is the stage when most of our dreams happen. It is oftentimes characterized by increased breathing (respiration), fast eye movemnts, and increased brain activity. REM sleep is commonly referred to as paradoxical sleep because while the brain and body systems are actually becoming more active, your muscles are relaxing to the point of paralyzation.
Dreaming occurs as a result of the inccrease in brain activity, however voluntary muscles become paralyzed. (An example of your voluntary muscles would be your arms and legs, and your involuntary muslces would be your heart and stomache, which move on their own.)
REM sleep is the stage of sleep when you typically dream. You may have brief images in some of the earlier stages of sleep, but the actual dream state occurs during REM.
Interestingly, this period of paralyzation is actually a built-in measure to inhibit you from accidentally hurting yourself or others. When you are paralyzed, you are unable to use your muscles to get up and perform an act that you are dreaming about. This is why sleepwalking can occur at stage four, but not stage five.

From God: I’ve had many dreams, visions, and called by God into intercessory prayer for people and situations, and that means praying when he says pray and it might be for day(s), month(s), year(s) before you know/see the results, or it might be “Pray now,” and by doing this for a person saved their life from an accident; called to fast 23 days for a revival, when others only fasted 10 days, but that ended up with 800 people coming to the Lord in a four day meeting at our church.
Prayed against weather etc, and God answered my request sometimes immediately.

Thanks I did not get as far as the book thing just the scientific stuff about sleep which I knew a lot about anyway. Did not see immediately anything about how god stuff was supposed to happen so gave up as probably others also did. These things have a very short span if not to point in max 30 secs on to next subject. Remember when writing and as soon as sales pitch people leave. Whether it’s threats of war, financial collapse, or some new mega-plague, people are getting scared and desperate enough to believe the charlatans who always have something to sell in relation to their fears. At times like what’s presently happening in the world, the Christian Bible is a good seller. Sometimes if you hit the right TV channel at the right time, you may even get a vile of holy water thrown in for good measure. For those who do rush to send in their hard earned cash, just make sure you take the time to read it carefully, especially Revelations. I think that book was designed to confuse folk like me. Heck…with all the horses and riders that sound like some race of monsters with many heads blowing horns and trumpets, I’m surprised that movie producers from a certain country haven’t made at least three or four films, especially with all the monsters!
If you believe everything the Bible says, make sure to read what it has to say about the “End Of Days or End Times”… NOT EVEN THE LORD KNOWS WHEN HE’S COMING BACK! If that’s the case, then where did the preachers and other scam artists get the info that says He’s here already, and now the poop is really going to hit the fan! Maybe a heavy duty raincoat would be a good investment, just in case….
How can someone “see” a voice? I hear voices, I don’t see them. God doesn’t use dreams to speak to everyone. Sometimes he uses humans, sometimes he uses circumstances, and sometimes he speaks through His spirit that resides in all believers. Most Christians today can feel the warnings the Holy Spirit is giving them. We know we are in the last days.
She doesn’t claim to be a profit. Yes she did advertise a book, but I think she means well. I do believe that we are living close to the end of time. Only God knows when that will happen. Not even his son Jesus knows the day or the hour. We can see for ourselves that every single day that goes by more and more disasters and awful things are happening. God is not doing bad things to us. It’s the Devil. He is going after all the good people. He doesn’t go after bad people because they are already evil.
