Jaw-dropping statements from this false black pope!! I agree with one ever so tiny statement. God certainly is NOT a wizard or magitian, He is GOD and He is absolutely more than capable of doing ANYTHING and without “magic”, yes. Oh, these recent statements make me ill to my stomach. BEWARE, folks!! It’s coming!
Delivering an address to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, Pope Francis continued his habit of making provocative, seemingly progressive statements. The pontiff appeared to endorse the theory of the Big Bang and told the gathering at the Vatican that there was no contradiction between believing in God as well as the prevailing scientific theories regarding the expansion of our universe.
“When we read about creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so,” Francis said. “He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment.”
The pope avoids gesturing at the thorny issue (at least for some Christians) of whether humans descended from apes. Atheists argue, moreover, that understanding the Big Bang and what emerged from that cosmic moment obviates a need to believe in a deity. On that count, Francis obviously disagrees. God can do all things –
even create and allow Free Will within mortal beings and give immortal souls to them, by which acts he delegates some of His power and glory to them;
even build His whole Creation upon the principle that everything changes and nothing lasts for ever, although He Himself is eternal, and never changes;
and even understand all languages and appear to the human mind under many names although He/She/It is ONE.
this Pope does nothing and says nothing that could really contradict the basic beliefs of Christianity, of Gospel.
all he does is accept reality as it is. there IS change, there IS evolution, it is part of God´s plan, part of Creation.

On Latter Day you will NOT be judged by what kind of Bible you read, what dogma dou believe, what kind of sunday service you attended, ect.! God is not like the leader of some fascist Sect. So clearly all one needs to thwart the destructive machinations of the narcissistic schizophrenic biblical deity, is better military equipment. If it can’t beat chariots of iron, it has no chance against our modern technology.

The passage in Judges is symbolic. The word mountain means the ruling government. That government is overthrown by war. The valley is the people that are ruled by the government. Chariots of iron are their beliefs that they refuse to surrender or convert. God does not force people to believe, it is something people must willingly submit.

I have noticed that you rely on history to form your beliefs. I believe that past civilizations were given the same parables as are shown in the Bible, the same outline. The message given is love one another and do not kill. The Bible old testament is written to show what is wrong to illustrate the need for what is right.

The theory of the Big Bang and believing in God are all facts that Christians must agree because they are facts.
Whether creation was done in one week or billions or years it still does not deny the God Creative God Force.

The eye for instance, how an organism that has no sight can evolve to have sight. Evolution is based on the next generation having qualities that advance survival. The early biological cells that form sight gave no survival advantage to the organism without sight. It was Gods blueprint that continued the organisms development to form eyes through all of the stages that did not give the organism any advantage to have the new cells that create sight. If evolution is what creates life forms only based on advantage of survival then why only 2 eyes? Why not an eye on the back of the head to see what is creeping up behind you? An eye on the back of the head would be an extreme advantage for survival yet animals have 2 eyes.
