No conflict—for example, the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, or between Zionist Orthodox rabbis and anti-Zionist Orthodox rabbis—can be resolved by the same consciousness that is obsessed with describing and analyzing it.
In other words, the consciousness that describes and analyzes conflicts, being a dualistic consciousness—that very consciousness that
thrives and depends upon duality, conflict and violence—is sharply different than the consciousness which is capable of actually resolving conflicts; that is, the consciousness of non-duality.
Question: Why do Palestinians and Israelis, anti-Zionist and Zionist rabbis, relentlessly vomit up an unending succession of descriptions and analyses of the conflicts between them; descriptions and analyses which, clearly, their enemies will never acknowledge or validate, even in a million lifetimes?
Answer: In order to demonstrate to their enemies that their particular solution to the conflict is the preferred solution; a solution that their enemies will also never acknowledge or validate in a million lifetimes; thus transforming all of these descriptions, analyses and purported solutions into nothing more than an exercise in futility for both sides of each of these conflicts.
But all of these futile efforts are based upon the assumption that the consciousness that describes and analyzes conflicts is the same consciousness that is capable of resolving those conflicts.
In other words, the general, but unarticulated assumption is that there is only one dimension of human consciousness to begin with; and that, if the (dualistic) consciousness that is employed in describing and analyzing a particular conflict is incapable of resolving that conflict, that means that such a conflict CANNOT be resolved; when, in fact, it is, instead, the very insistence that that there is only one dimension of human consciousness—a dimension of consciousness which must both describe and analyze, as well as resolve conflicts—that is crucially important to creating the problem in the first place.
Thus, the question comes down to a consideration of what is necessary to move from the dualistic consciousness—the descriptions and analyses of which, over at least the past 4 decades, have clearly demonstrated its inability to resolve either of these conflicts—to the non-dualistic consciousness which can, in fact, resolve both the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, and Zionists and anti-Zionists.
And that can be accomplished only by setting aside both the dualizing and divisive theologies of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’, and the obsession with describing and analyzing rather than resolving these conflicts; with the clear understanding that such resolutions can be achieved only on the basis of the Knowledge (and consciousness) of non-duality conveyed by the foundational Revelations of Judaism, Christianity and Islam: the Revelation of “the resurrection” and the Vision of the “Son of man”.
