“And Jesus said, ‘Who do you say that I am?’”
And Peter (representing Christian theology) said, “You are the kerygma of our interpersonal relationship. You are the eschatological manifestation of the ground of our being.”
And Michael said, “There is no ‘you’ there. Every ‘you’ is comprised of a ‘fallen’, dualistic, “beast of the sea” consciousness of the “self”, and a ‘fallen’, dualistic, “beast of the earth” consciousness of the ‘thinker’ (this is the “number of a man”—Chapter 13, verse 18 of the Revelation of John).
The “ground of our being” is not the dualistic consciousness of any ‘you’; but, rather, the non-dualistic consciousness Created ‘by and in the image of God’; that consciousness which existed and exists prior to the differentiation of consciousness from non-duality into the duality of “self” and ‘thinker’. And “eschatological” means the same consciousness with which man was Created.
As Jesus said in Saying #11 of the Gospel of Thomas, “On the day when you were one, you became two.”:
