Lyn Leahz|December 11, 2014 Many people have no real clue just how important California is to us in relation to produce, nuts, and a whole slew of circumstances which could lead us into a nasty tailspin of apocalyptic events should the current three year drought continue without much of a reprieve. And, according to experts, worse is coming! However, that’s not all they have discovered—there is more—and they are genuinely surprised by their recent find.
But first, we must ask, what would it be like if California were to disappear?

Expensive and grainy. California produces a sizable majority of many American fruits, vegetables, and nuts: 99 percent of artichokes, 99 percent of walnuts, 97 percent of kiwis, 97 percent of plums, 95 percent of celery, 95 percent of garlic, 89 percent of cauliflower, 71 percent of spinach, and 69 percent of carrots (and the list goes on and on). Some of this is due to climate and soil. No other state, or even a combination of states, can match California’s output per acre. Lemon yields in California, for example, are more than 50 percent higher than in Arizona. California spinach yield per acre is 60 percent higher than the national average. Without California, supply of all these products in the United States and abroad would dip, and in the first few years, a few might be nearly impossible to find. Orchard-based products in particular, such as nuts and some fruits, would take many years to spring back.
Price surges would eventually become the larger issue. Rising prices would force Americans to consume more grains, which are locked in a complicated price-dependent relationship with fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. When the price of produce increases, people eat more grain. When the price of grain drops, people eat more fruits and vegetables. (In fact, in some parts of the world, wheat and rice are the only proven “Giffen goods”—a product in which decreasing prices lead to decreasing demand.) It would be one massive, nasty domino effect after another which would have dire results on the entire United States of America. Clearly, this would fulfill Revelation 6:6. Re-read the second paragraph above and then read Revelation 6:6 (below). Grain prices would escalate drastically, the young and poor would be affected on a large scale, yet the rich (the oil and the wine) would not be touched.

According to an August 11, 2014 publication in Fortune News, it is not just bad, but extreme, of massive scope, and complex:
More than 80% of California is now in a state of extreme drought, according to the latest assessment. The environmental conditions that residents are experiencing today actually began in 2011. Still, there seems to be no end in sight. Water costs are sky high, as you would expect, but Californians are paying the price in more ways than one. The state’s Central Valley agriculture industry, for example, stands to lose $1.7 billion this year as a result of what some believe is the worst drought to affect the region in 500 years. Some 14,500 workers could lose their jobs in an area responsible for half of the state’s agriculture and five percent of the entire nation’s.

California’s three year drought is the worst seen for over 1200 years, researchers have found. Scientists looking at the cumulative effects of temperature, low precipitation and other factors said that it all adds up to the worst conditions in more than a millennium. They also claim that worse could be to come, with droughts almost certain to occur again in the future.
A combination of record high temperatures and sparse rainfall during California’s three-year drought have produced the worst conditions in 1,200 years, according to a study accepted for publication by the American Geophysical Union (AGU). ’The current California drought is exceptionally severe in the context of at least the last millennium and is driven by reduced though not unprecedented precipitation and record high temperatures,’ the report’s authors said in the study released late Thursday. The study by the University of Minnesota and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution said that warm, dry conditions have shrunk the supply of surface water from reservoirs, streams and the Sierra Nevada snowpack in the state, even as demand from people and farms has gone up, resulting in unprecedented scarcity.
Well, a professor and a scientist asked just how unusual this particular ongoing drought is, and the answer they discovered wasn’t quite what they were expecting:
Daniel Griffin, an assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Society at the University of Minnesota, and Kevin Anchukaitis, an assistant scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, asked the question, ‘How unusual is the ongoing California drought?’ and collected new tree-ring samples from blue oak trees in southern and central California.
‘California’s old blue oaks are as close to nature’s rain gauges as we get,’ says Griffin. ’They thrive in some of the driest environments where trees can grow in California.’
Blue Oak trees are very sensitive to moisture changes and their tree rings vividly display moisture changes and fluctuations.
Griffin, a NOAA Climate and Globaly Change Fellow and Former WHOI postdoctoral shcholar stated, ‘We were genuinely surprised at the result. This is California – drought happens. Time and again, the most common result in tree-ring studies is that drought episodes in the past were more extreme than those of more recent eras.
‘This time, however, the result was different.’
The result was different? This means that in times past it was not worse or even equal to the magnitude it is now. In other words, to as far back as they are able to date using the tree ring method, what is happening now exceeds any of the droughts that have occurred before.

I know all of this, because of having been immersed in the Ag industry for decades, but, I think it is VERY important to wake a lot of folks up to the fact, that, something most of you do NOT give a second thought to now (FOOD), could end up to be everyone’s “most sought after” commodity within a short period of time from now.

I have been watching this for several years now, since I used to live in the San Francisco bay area, and then in Sacramento, so I’m well aware of the amount of food that California produces, and the severity of the drought and how it affects the market/economy. I now live in North Dakota, in the midst of the grain belt… North Dakota produces the grain of the world… more wheat is grown here than even Russia, our nearest competitor. Here’s additional bad news… because of Monsanto’s RoundUp herbicide, and the GMO seeds that the farmers here are forced to buy… the soil is now becoming sterile… it’s so saturated with glyphosate that it’s killing off EVERYTHING. The farmers saturate the fields just before harvest, to force the last of the grain to mature. Well, guess what wheat is? A grass… a plant that the herbicide will kill. With the grain contaminated by the herbicide, just before harvest, it doesn’t have a chance to dissipate, and when it gets ground up into flour, guess where that herbicide ends up? In our guts… killing us. This is what is causing the record numbers of Crohn’s disease, colitis, IBS, autoimmune disease, cancer, that have been on the rise since the 1950s and 1960s… when they started introducing RoundUp into the market. So… between the drought, and Monsanto and the chemical companies, our food bills have been rising astronomically, just as the Bible said it would. Even places like Chile and Argentina, where we get some of our produce, have been suffering with abnormal weather, such as ice storms just at the time of harvest, destroying the produce. It’s happening, folks.

If you acknowledge that the drought in California has been manufactured by the government, would it not stand to reason that those in control may be trying to bring about the very events in the Bible of which you speak? Is it, therefore, a case of prophesy being fulfilled or a self-fulfilling prophesy?
The fact of the matter is that you cannot be sure – one way or the other. To blindly assert that it is the former without acknowledging the latter is the height of arrogance. When you shackle yourself to the sin of surety, you simply become one of the sheep – easily led and misled.
Something else to consider:
Here in the Midwest, we experienced crop yields unmatched in recent memory – perhaps ever. Corn, for example, made 200+ bushel to the acre on some fields. This is not hearsay; this is fact. We have been watching an open ocean HAARP focal point deflecting Pacific moisture laden air to the south of California for the past three years and recorded and cached such for that long. THE U.S. weather satellite feed has recorded each instance. Rense.com has contributors who recorded and cached a few of the most recent instances of HAARP blocking incoming rain from the Pacific ocean. THIS is the source of the California drought. The U.S. is under a concerted manifold attack. I am going to share something with you and your readers that most people are not even aware of. If it, (oops, meaning I) am attacked by a troll for putting it out there, you can bet money there is some important truth involved! I wont be watching for that though, cause all I can do is put it out there. To me, the horse is welcome to die of thirst in front of the trough, if it’s own freewill dictates such utter, stupid nonsense. I wont be pushing anybody to do anything. After Chernobyl, the only common thing they could give people for radiation exposure was Iodine. Please look it up to verify that. Iodine is a biochemical micro-nutrient that we no longer get, as roughly 95% of people test low for it (Dr David Brownstein), but every cell in our bodies still needs. The point is NOT that it doesnt help in all cases of the different kinds of radiation, the point is that it can help some to protect against radiation exposure, and that is why it is still used around Chernobyl and perhaps in Japan too (I have not checked that)?
Presuming this is the truth, the kind that is easiest to take is called Lugol’s (2% -Amazon). Its been around for about 200 years. But there is what is called a detox reaction from other halide class chemicals (bromine, fluoride, and another one) being freed up. It would help to study at the curezone.com, although the healing side benefits of Iodine are the main subject there, not radiation protection which our discussion is about. Kelp and now seafood is not an adequate substitute in some opinions due to possible/probable contamination.
I suggest that people research this possible health aid in these troubled times. Several doctors have praised Iodine’s anti-cancer properties. If anyone has any other nutrients that might help against radiation exposure to mention, I am sure some of us might be interested in hearing what they are? Too bad the media either don’t know or are too manipulated to know, that the HAARP weather manipulation is responsible for the california drought, generated from places like off the west coast of the continent. Most of California is naturally a desert. Somehow expecting an area which is naturally dry to magically produce water for humans is typical of Lazy Lyn’s thought processes. Humans moving into an area and taking water for cities, crops, and industry reduces the available water.
What makes her “article” even sillier is that it’s up just as California gets bashed with a huge Winter storm with more storms on the way for next week.
