“Scientist Reproduces Turin Shroud” An Italian scientist has attempted to replicate the Shroud of Turin using materials and techniques available in the Middle Ages (when some believe the shroud was originally made). Garlaschelli’s procedure was to rub an acidic pigment over a linen cloth while a volunteer lay beneath it (whose face was protected). Garlaschelli then baked the cloth in an oven and washed it to give it the appearance of age. Finally, blood stains, scorch marks, and water stains were added to match the original. BBC News reports that the final version of the cloth showed “a half-tone image similar to that on the [s]hroud.”
“The result obtained clearly indicates that this could be done with the use of inexpensive materials and with a quite simple procedure,” Garlaschelli explained. But he added, “If [those who accept the authenticity of the shroud] don’t want to believe carbon dating done by some of the world’s best laboratories they certainly won’t believe me.” (Radiocarbon dating performed on the shroud in 1988 indicated that the fabric originated from the Middle Ages, but the findings have been called into question.)
The genuineness of the shroud can never be completely answered by scientific tests, since they can only be conducted in the present. However, we must NEVER forsake the biblical element!

Creation scientists are brilliant at what they do. Proving the bible from Science especially the creation story and debunking the rubbish of satanist darwin and the people who put him up to his lies, as amnyone who as ever picked up a “creation science’ magazine will discover to their astonishment.
But their rejection of Ron wyatt and the ufo presence originates down food chain with the bottom feeders of their ranks, those without scientific or any other training as far as i can gather, as per magazine editorial staff etc.
Wyatt himself was skeptical of the shroud at one point at least – thats where he fell down and the belief that the sunday sabbath was the mark of the beast. he finally distanced himself from the corrupt 7/11 church who didn’t even believe his discoveries but i don’t know whether he took these false beliefs with him.

Why there are no records of Jesus Christ.
It is not possible to find in any legitimate religious or historical writings compiled between the beginning of the first century and well into the fourth century any reference to Jesus Christ and the spectacular events that the Church says accompanied his life. This confirmation comes from Frederic Farrar (1831-1903) of Trinity
College, Cambridge:
“It is amazing that history has not embalmed for us even one certain or definite saying or circumstance in the life of the Saviour of mankind … there is no statement in all history that says anyone saw Jesus or talked with him. Considering all Christianity evolved (or devolved, depending on your perspective) from Catholocism (the original Church, founded by St. Peter the Apostle), it seems like the argument of “My Christianity is the true Christianity” is pointless. Much like saying that one reads “The True Word of God”. ALL religious texts are the work of men- not an intangible creature. All religion is man-made, and therefore, suspect. No denomination has it right, and there is no “right religion”. It’s all false.
Simon Peter did not found the Roman Catholic Church, Stan. He was the rock upon which Jesus built His Church. The word “Church” came directly from the Greek…ekklésia… meaning an assembly, a (religious) congregation.
The “church” are the believers, period, and it’s critically important to get the terminology right. Otherwise it’s easy to think that the Faith is a whole lot of nonsense instead of what it really is. The Truth the Way and the Life.

Shroud of Turin…for the doubting Thomases of the world. Real or faked, absolutely zero relevance to a “believer”, who probably won’t get too close to the subject, as it is just another distraction. I think it would be those who identify with the physical existence of the soul, instead of the ‘spiritual body”. Flesh cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. It is a different ‘dimension’.
If there were no shroud, it would not change anything….it is a distraction, and a temptation.
The entire Catholic church is a fake. And yes we already know, Leonardo DeVinci faked the shroud. It’s SO easy to prove. Just wrap a wet cloth around your face with a piece of paper and see what image you get. It’s very, very stretched horizontally, like silly puddy. The ‘shroud’ has no such stretching. Whatever bible you used to quote John 20:5-7 is WRONG Use the only reliable word of God, the KJV: “And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
NOWHERE does it say that the linen clothes “were folded”, the new versions ad lib wherever they please distorting facts and TRUTH wherever and whenever and this one verse is proof of that.
The linen clothes that were wrapped around Jesus’ body were HARD AND SET LIKE A BODY CAST because of the manner of Jewish burial in those days. Look at John 19:39-40 “And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury”.
They coated the outside of the linen clothes that were wrapped around Him like a mummy with 100 POUNDS of Myrrh and Aloes which hardened around Jesus’ body like a body cast! What “the other” disciple saw when he looked in the tomb was THE EMPTY BODY CAST OF JESUS UNBROKEN YET WITH NOBODY IN IT!! That is why John 20:8 says that “he saw [inside the tomb] and believed.”
Believe whatever you wish sheeple. The new testament was written at least 50 – 150 years after the events supposed to have happened. Jesus himself said the false prophet will be the most popular guess who is the most popular today. The truth is that Christianity was molded after the pagan mystery religions and used to control the soldiers of Rome and make them more obedient.
Forgive me for stating the obvious, but it seems quite counterproductive to control soldiers by making them obedient to a religion which has a Sixth Commandment, or even a First Commandment.

There is another piece of the shroud that matches the shroud in Spain.
This puts paid to it. As well as being bound so that the main burial cloth was in direct contact with Our Lords body, the 100 pounds of spices etc would have ensured it….as you say it would haver fitted the cloth like a mould to our Lords body. Hence when He was revived by the holy spirit the divine light would have left an imprint on the burial cloth, shroud.
As for this non believing poster and some (most) of the commenters. why would anybody want to forge the shroud in the first place.? It would do nothing for unbelievers who as the above shows do not believe anyway and it would not alter the faith of believers in any way as they already believe. It has never made a cent for anyone. Three of the four gospels (NT) count down the days of the week from Palm Sunday to the Friday Cruxifiction (taken off the cross that night by Nicodemous, John 19:39, and when the “girls” checked Sunday morning (Matt 23:1 as it began to dawn, Mark 16:2 very early in the morning, Luke 24:1 early in the morning, John 21:1 it was yet dark)… he was not there… when Sunday began he was already unburied and wandering the earth (John 20:17 having not ascended yet) he spoke to Mary… moments after they discovered he was NO LONGER BURIED (John 20:13-16, she mistook him for the gardener), UP AND WANDERING THE EARTH IN ALL HIS GLORY(?), at best having been buried for part of Friday night, Saturday and most(?) of Saturday night… not three days and three nights as he repeatedly stated he would be. Jesus is a FALSE PROPHET, according to his father, read the book and stop carrying it around pretending to intimidate non believers and each other… oh what a wonderful world it would be… feel free to hold Muslims to the same standard.
Too many so called Christians invest a lot of time making up bible events to mitigate absurdities found in the bible stories, especially when the bible stories written don’t match the movie versions or tall tales preferred by their carriers… more than one Christian has tried to float the nonsense of a Wednesday crucifixion (a disingenuous construct required, because Jesus repeatedly said that he would spend three days and three nights buried (like Jonah spent three days and nights in a whale)… as proof… as a sign… of the nearness of the judgment day… Jesus routinely told his followers that some of them would be alive to see the judgment day… its pretty obvious, he got that wrong too. Here’s what the bible actually says to prove my point… its not a debate, these are the facts, as they appear in ‘their sacred tome’, wink:
John: 12:1 …SIX DAYS BEFORE THE PASSOVER ((feast), Jesus resuscitated Lazarus)
…the church celebrates the resuscitation of Lazarus on the Saturday before Palm Sunday because:
John 12:12 …the bible says …ON THE NEXT DAY… 12:12-15 the events of Palm Sunday are described.
Thus, if six days before the Passover is Saturday, then:
… five days before the Passover is Sunday,
… four days before the Passover is Monday,
… three days before the Passover is Tuesday,
… two days before the Passover is Wednesday and
…after Thurs-DAY (as in Thursday night) is the feast, he is arrested that night (after midnight)
…Crucified the next day, FRIDAY (the day before the Sabbath) not Wednesday
…no need to invent another Sabbath that week… otherwise not recorded in the gospels.
…one has to but read, comprehend and but do the math.
Mark 11:1-11 …the events of Palm Sunday are described… after which Jesus left town for the night
Mark 11:12 …Jesus returned the next day (that would be Monday)
Mark 11:19 …and when the evening came Jesus left town for the night (again)
Mark 11:20 …and in the morning (that would be Tuesday) he returned… Tuesday was a busy day,
…this generation shall not pass until (Matt 13:30) he was wrong, it passed, etc
…later on that day, after a lot was said and done, towards the end of the day the bible says:
Mark 14:1 …AFTER TWO DAYS WAS THE FEAST… (that would be Wednesday and Thursday)
…THURSDAY NIGHT… (seems to match John’s recollections)
…Crucified Friday not Wednesday…
Note: he did not say (on what can only be described as Tuesday), tonight is the feast (required for a Wednesday crucifiction)…
Matt 21:1-9 …the events of Palm Sunday are described… after which:
Matt 12:17 …Jesus left town for the night
Matt 12:18 …Jesus returned in the morning (Monday)… you can see where this is going, right???
Matt 23:36 …all these things shall come upon this generation… (not the next? or subsequent generations, this one)
Matt 24:1 …Jesus departed the temple (for the mount of Olives… out of town, on his way to Bethany for the night?)
…pretty much matching Mark’s account.
Matt 24:3 …While their he is asked when will the world end… he goes on to describe what will(?) happen, and:
Matt 24:34 …again… this generation shall not pass until these things be done…
…John 12:31 now is the judgment of the world… (back then he said NOW not 1000’s of years from now)
…Matt 16:28 some, standing here, shall not taste death till they see (the judgment day)
(nope they are all dead, another inaccurate prediction, he sounds a lot like a false prophet)
Matt 26:2 …(sometime that day, Tuesday) Know ye, AFTER TWO DAYS IS THE FEAST OF THE PASSOVER.

Note: John and Mark are written in Greco-Roman timelines (a day is from sun up to sun up, with the night belonging to the day before it) not to be confused with modern time (where the day begins in the middle of the night, a construct that tried to find a compromise between the two old world methods of describing a day, without showing favor to either… the other being Jewish (old bible) time (in which a day begins in darkness (feel free to read Genesis)… when the sun goes down and ends when the sun goes down again… the day time belonging to the night before it… opposite Greco-Roman time); Matthew could just as easily been written in Jewish time and net the same results:

…FRIDAY BEFORE THE SABBATH… LIKE ALL FOUR GOSPELS SAY… THE ONLY SABBATH 2000 YEARS AGO.
…Jesus was Jewish, his fathers preferred people (nothing in the bible changes that)
…Jesus said (Matt 15:24) I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel… (multiple times/places)
…he didn’t come to start a new religion… not here for the gentiles (non Jews)
…gentiles can become Jewish but according to revelations, they cannot go into the inner sanctum of heaven

Sadly, Christians have invented a Wednesday crucifiction (deliberately mis-spelled) because when confronted with text its impossible (hardly a miracle) to fit three days and three nights (Matt 12:40 but one of many times Jesus describes “the sign” of the “judgment day” coming during “this generation” decrying “some of you will be alive to witness it”, blah blah blah)… between crucifixion day and resurrection day. According to each of the four gospels he was crucified on the preparation day (that would be Friday) as the preparation day is the day before the Jewish Sabbath (that is Saturday, then as it is now). He was taken off the cross (John 19:39) by Nicodemus, he was the first to come and take him him off the cross at night to be buried. False prophets are easy to spot, if one but reads the book… according to Deuteronomy: if it doesn’t happen exactly as they say it will, they are a false prophet and need to be killed immediately… go figure. The sad part is they gleefully lie about what’s in the bible to children and thus the cycle continues… another generation invested (time and money) in pursuit of something that doesn’t exist… a myth… snake oil for the soul.

You err in your parsing of the Word. Jesus told the disciples that He would be raised on the “third day”:
“From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.”

“For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.”
—Mark 9:31
“Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.”
—Luke 9:22
So then, according to the Word, here is the meaning of the “third day”:
10 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
—Exodus 19:10-11
Notice the sequence described above. The LORD tells Moses to sanctify the people today and tomorrow and then on the third day, He would appear to them. This is not a 72 hour period. The LORD counted today as day 1, tomorrow as day 2, and the following day as day 3. In modern language, one would say the day after tomorrow.
Here is another example of what the “third day” means in Scripture:
5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.
6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
—Leviticus 19:5-6
Again, we see in the above Scripture that the third day is the day after tomorrow.
And here is Jesus using the same terminology, where the third day means the day after tomorrow:
“And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.”

Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose on the third day from then, which would be Sunday.

Chuck Missler of Koinonia House Inc. states: “Dame Piczek, a Hungarian trained particle physicist and internationally renowned monumental artist, has apparently uncovered hard, scientific evidence of the Shroud. She contends that the image was created in an infinitesimally small fraction of a second and its formation was absent of the effects of gravity. Dame explains the complicated physics behind the image on the Shroud saying: As quantum time collapses to absolute zero [time stopped moving] in the tomb of Christ, the two event horizons, one stopping events from above and the other stopping the events from below at the moment of the zero time collapse going through the body, get infinitely close to each other and eliminate each other, causing the image to print itself on the two sides of the Shroud.”

What a load of rubbish. Who wrote this article. Do they ever do any research? It clearly seems not. If they did they would discover the truth.

Please note, “A clean linen cloth.”
Unfortunately, in some of the newer Bible translations we find the word “strips” instead of “cloths.” (New International Version ©1984).
John 20:6 (NIV) Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there.
Certain believers have used the wrong translations that contain the wrong word “strips” instead of the right words “linen cloths” for their main argument to wrongly debunk The Shroud of Turin.
Why? why? why? are certain creation ministries failing God and the world?
Working so hard proving God created the world. By not brining the lost world to Jesus? but who are instead looked at as if they are comedians.
The answer.
The answer is simple. Because people like Ken Ham are condemning the very evidence, God has preserved of Jesus for people to gain faith. Instead of taking people to the cross of Jesus, they are instead taking them back to Adam and Eve, when they should be teaching the human race the rock sold facts and evidence about the crucifixion, death, and the ultimate Resurrection of Jesus (Yeshua) meaning Salvation, which God has proved all on the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo,
But instead they do the opposite. By teaching the physical and visible facts of Jesus on the Shroud is a great hoax. Which in the end kicks them self’s in the teeth.
They do not seem to understand, it does not matter how good the facts and evidence is regarding the proof they put forward, simply because the non-believers cannot see it, comprehend it, or understand it, no matter how good, true or convincing the evidence is.
WHY?
Because the God of this world, Satan the Devil, has blinded them from the truth. And unbelievers need the God/Jesus who is the God of the whole universe to heal them from their spiritual blindness.

And this is why most of the human race will continue to mock, ridicule, laugh and insult the Creation Ministries, when they put forward outstanding evidence of the God/Jesus who created the world.
WHAT MAN SOWS HE REAPS.
Because most cannot see or believe and be healed by Jesus, unless they accept His crucifixion, death, and the ultimate Resurrection ”first.” and there for ”most” non-believers cannot believe and understand what creation ministries preach and teach that God created the world.
Certain clever Creation Ministries have got there priority’s the wrong way round. They are doing a great job by teaching the human race the great evidence of the world being created by a creator God. Then expecting non-believers to repent and believe in Jesus, which most non-believers cannot do or believe because they do not believe in Jesus, who is the one who heals and removes the spiritual blindness so non-believers can see and believe it is He God/Jesus who created the world.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 .
We need to go through Jesus to know and understand Jesus/God created the world. If we do not know or believe in Jesus, how can we know and believe God created the world.
Believing in Jesus first is the solution. So people can be healed by Him and then believe and understand the truth. That He created the world
Notice what Jesus states at the end of His statement below.
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Matthew 13.15.

Unless we go to the cross of Jesus first and believe what He did for us on the cross, which we can still do today by going to the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo, to gain faith just as St Thomas who became The famous Doubting Thomas
also needed to do, and see and touch the very holes from the nails in the hands of Jesus including His spear wound to gain faith in the resurrected Jesus.
Then confess Him as Lord a saviour, the rest of the bible archaeology and great facts the Creation Ministries put forward will have little effect, as we see when we read the 1000′s of comments by non-believers.

Crazy Times has a point, to which I attempted to offer a possible answer. There is NO verifiable DNA, belonging to Christ. Therefore, the Shroud of Turin will always be a matter of faith and debate. I read a paper, claiming that the blood on the Shroud is Female, and the author offers this as proof that it has to be Christ’s blood; because Christ was an immaculate birth, and only female DNA would be present. Considering Christ was Male, that theory is shot to hell.
That’s why I suggest using any possible blood from fragments of the True Cross (if the Vatican’s relics are in fact, what they say they are). If you believe Biblical accounts (and Mel Gibson movies), there should be no shortage of blood on the wood. A DNA match would link the cross and the Shroud, conclusively. Hell, even a matching blood type would suffice, for most devout Christians.
Lyn Leahz and some others’ ability to evaluate the evidence is very poor. There is clearly no ‘proof’ either way, but most definitely no proof of it being fake by the mention of more than one strip of cloth. 1984 TV Obama makes a valid point, except for the fact that this is not proof, just reason to see why the analysis of Lyn Laehz is invalid, and hardly thorough in not mentioning the LONG burial cloth described In Luke 23:53. That was put on immediately after Christ’s body was taken down from the cross, so it makes sense that other strips of cloth would have been wound round to hold the burial cloth in place in transit to the tomb.
I think the Turin shroud may well be a fake, but I also understand science by which it could be genuine. Blessed are those who believe in Christ for all he said and did, without the need for further signs.

What were these scientists and other forensic experts doing with this piece of cloth all these years? The National Geographic Channel and History Channel had aired many documentaries on this piece of mysterious cloth many times and experts had done several Electron Microscopic studies and still could not arrive at a decision all these years that this was or was not the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. As I could understand, scientists have confirmed that the cloth is as old as the time of Christ. The image etched on that mysterious cloth is so mysterious that they still could not duplicate the method. One of the documentaries I had viewed clearly indicated that this type of an image could be made on a cloth only by a sudden nuclear type of explosion, which was unfortunately found in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the nuclear explosions. This image must have formed on the cloth at that very moment when Christ resurrected. Two thousand years ago, the people did not have the expertise to do such skillful ‘drawing’ on the cloth, interestingly, which has to be done from the inside in wrapped condition.
These days there are a bunch of atheists who want to destroy the Bible and all the evidence and these are the people who are now trying to bring in ‘new facts’ about the shroud.
The scientists and associated people who are associated with the study of this Shroud are having a piece of cloth with them which clearly shows too many proofs with evidence, and they are finding it difficult to hide the facts rather than accepting them. Now they have found an excuse that the description of the Shroud is not matching word to word in the Bible – What a joke!!!!!
To an extend it is alright with what they are doing since they have already sold their souls to the devil and the Shroud of Turin or the evidence of Noah’s Ark (which again many are trying to suppress) will not bring in any new Believers, or on the contrary, no Believers will walk away from faith by lack of evidence of these materialistic things. No matter how hard we try or how many arguments we present, ultimately only God can persuade a person that the Gospel is true. We are living in the end times and we as Believers, will face more of strange news in the days ahead, but it is very important to lead our lives, looking at the Cross, with unwavering heart, till we reach our destination.
