In The Midst of the Covenant, (did Israel sign the seven year agreement?)
Did Israel sign the seven year agreement? Are we experiencing the last three years before the return of Jesus Christ?
For today’s events to significantly signal what may be the final days until the establishment of the government of Jesus Christ there must be certain factors in place;
· A seven year agreement
· An antichrist
· An end to daily or continual sacrifices
· Abominations causing desolations
· Mark of the Beast
· Famines, disease, pestilence
· Earthquakes in diverse places
We have all of these factors and may (perhaps) be in the final three years of the seven year end time scenario as outlined in the Bible! Of course it all depends on what will occur in the near future.
Dan 9:24-25 “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. ”Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.
Current events line up prophetically with seventy weeks or 490 years from the beginning of the restoration of Jerusalem under the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent, leader of the Ottoman empire in 1527 AD!

Israel has been restored and rebuilt, the streets and the wall, even in troublesome times.
To complete the fulfillment of the seventy weeks we would need to have a seven year covenant, treaty or some type of agreement between Israel and another factor within the region. There has been a quiet treaty that has gone by virtually unnoticed that warrants some consideration.
On December 17, 2010 Israel entered into an EEZ (exclusive economic zone) agreement with Cyprus. This agreement is for 3 years with two 2 year extensions (7 years). Interestingly the day of the signing of the treaty was also a Jewish holiday, the tenth of Tevet. Why is that significat? The tenth of Tevet is a fast day for the Jewish people in remembrance of the invasion of Jerusalem by the armies of Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar in 425 BC. Also, that same exact day a Tarek al-Tayeb Mohamed Bouazizi immolated himself sparking the beginning of what we refer to as the Arab spring!
Seven years (or 2580 days) from the signing of the EEZ treaty on December 17, 2010 is Jan 9, 2018, but just a short 100 days before that is the Jewish day of atonement or Yom Kippur 2017. All in all, it still amounts to a seven year time frame. No one knows the day or hour of the return of Christ Jesus.
June 29Th 2014, 1290 days from the signing of the EEZ (in the midst of covenant) ISIS prevented for the first time in 1600 years the Mass of an ancient Church in Mosul, Iraq! It is also the day that ISIS claimed Bahgdadi their Caliphate. The invasion of ISIS has caused a mass exodus (desolations) of Christians and others who do not want to be under ISIS rule or be annihilated. The ancient locations where Daniel received the end time visions is modern day Iraq. Turkey and Israel were in the process of negotiating a contract for the resources Israel obtains within the EEZ, but because of the 2014 clash in the Gaza strip Turkey has backed off of any business dealings with Israel. “He will do damage to the covenant”
Dan 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
“Messiah shall be cut off” Christians in the areas that ISIS has taken over are no longer allowed or able to worship in their churches or synagogue’s. Their cities and sanctuaries are being destroyed.
Dan 8:11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.“ Note that scripture refers to “daily” or “continual” sacrifices. None of the sacrifices that are part of the Jewish customs are daily other than the sacrifice of prayer at the Western Wall. Christian churches such as that in Mosul also performed daily or continual sacrifices (prayer) which has been “taken away”.
ISIS has vowed Israel is part of it’s goal to conquer in order to re-establish the Ottoman empire.
Mar 13:14 “So when you see the ‘ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
From the signing of the EEZ agreement we have seen “in the midst of the covenant” ISIS rise and begin to destroy territories, cause desolations, behead the saints as spoken of in scripture. Because these events line up with the signing of the EEZ it is compelling evidence that we may be in the final three years. Jesus gave Daniel the prophecy of the 62 weeks, 7 weeks and the final week, these were combined as part of the seventy weeks. We can acknowledge this time frame because the prophecy states: “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem , “(1527) “Until Messiah the Prince. ..”
In the Old Testament there are three Prophets who warn the Israelites that there will be a curse put upon them. These are the only passages in the Bible where the original Hebrew word translated for “curse” is “allah”
Dan. 9:11 Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Torah and turned aside that they might not obey Your voice. For this reason the curse (Allah) has been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Torah of Moses the servant of The Elohim, because we have sinned against Him.
Zech. 5:2-3 And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits. 3 And he said to me, This is the curse (Allah) that goes forth over the face of the whole earth. For from now on everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it; and everyone who swears from now on shall be cut off according to it.
Mal. 2:1-2 And now, O priests, this command is to you. If you will not hear, and if you will not set it on your heart to give glory to My name, says YAHWEH of Hosts, then I will send the curse (Allah) on you, and I will curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed it, because you are not setting it on your heart.
Muhammad was a military leader in his later years, scripture tells us that the leader who invades Israel spoken of by Daniel will honor a god of fortresses.
Dan 11:38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses;
“In AD 627, Mecca again sent Abu Sufyan leading coalition forces of 300 horsemen, 1,000 men on camels, 4,000 foot soldiers and thousands of nomads, to stop Muhammad in Medina.

The “Sirat Rasul Allah” recorded:
“The apostle of Allah imprisoned the Banu Qurayza in Medina while trenches were dug in the market place. ISIS has used some of the same war tactics as Muhammad as described in Islamic writings.
In all the areas overthrown by ISIS the residents are ordered to convert to Sunni Islam or die. They put the flag with the Islamic symbol up everywhere and wear this symbol around their heads or on their arms. (Mark of the Beast). We see Persia (Iran) and Media (Turkey) rising up against Israel and Turkey supporting ISIS. The Islamic State and their affiliates are admittedly Anti-Christ
Since the start of the Arab Spring many events that have occurred line up with those recorded in Revelation. Finally, there are earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, disease and pestilence increased to a staggering amount.
If in fact we are in the final three years we will see the Middle east continue to crumble in violence including the destruction of Damascus while Militant Islam rises even further. Militant Islam is spreading at an alarming rate including here in the United States. At the appointed time, God will bring His final judgment on the region as well as the whole world. Just before He destroys His enemies He will capture His people up to Himself in the rapture spoken of in Scripture:
Dan 12:1-2 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. “
1Th 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.“
Because the mass destruction spoken of in scripture is targeted in the Middle East it is this authors belief (at this time) that the rapture will be limited to Israel and those areas that will be totally destroyed in the final battle of the Lord. At that time every eye will see, every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father.
There is more as evidenced in scripture, but this article is meant as a condensed format, even though it’s long it is condensed.
Gloriously there is a great awakening in the region with many Jews and Muslims giving their lives to Jesus the Messiah our Savior and Lord. Again, as prophesied in Scripture.

It is good to see you are studying to show yourself approved. I hope that you always remain open to correction so that you don’t get convinced of something and run with it and build a ministry around it. Many have done this and cannot receive correction because of pride.
The key, as you know, to understanding prophecy is to search the word to see if there is any reason in scripture to prove we are wrong about our interpretation. For example, for about 20 years I thought that the one who set up the abomination was the Pope, because he is obviously the head of Babylon the Great. The goal of the Vatican is to set the Pope up in the temple of God and when he is there they believe that will fulfill the second coming because they believe that Christ will totally fill him with his presence. The Pope therefore becomes the embodiment of Christ.
Of course this is totally non-scriptural. Jesus will come back the way he left. He resurrected already in the flesh and it will be Jesus who returns in the flesh.
Now what I learned only this week is that it has to be the Little Horn who sets up the abomination for one simple reason. Daniel 8 says so.
Many think the little Horn is the Pope, however, Daniel 8 also tells us that the Little Horn comes out of one of the areas where Alexander the Great conquered and his 4 generals then ruled. Now seeing as these areas are now all Muslim states we know that the Little Horn is Muslim and from the Middle East, not Rome.
The reason I say all of that is because I see a scriptural flaw with your explanation of the 70 weeks and hope you will receive this correction in the spirit it is given. It is only in Christ that I exhort you to look at this.
Here is the scripture:
Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Now notice that it is during the 70 weeks in verse 26 that Jesus is cut off, crucified. This means that the 70 weeks had to begin, not in 1527, but rather after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off. Now this time is equal to 434 years.
The prophecy of the first 483, including the 434 years, has been done by many scholars and some disagree to the exact formula. I will not explain it here. I do not know which calculation is correct, however, they all have credibility and therefore it seems obvious that one of them is true seeing as Jesus was crucified on the day in question. The main point here is that Jesus was crucified at the end of the 483 total years.
