(Before It's News)

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

Chapter 20, verse 16 of Exodus

What, then, is the resurrection? It is always the disclosure of those who have risen.”

The Treatise on the Resurrection

…in the resurrection…they are the same as the angels; and, being children of the resurrection, they are sons of God.”

Chapter 20, verse 38 of the Gospel of Luke

To ‘bear false witness against one’s neighbor’ is to claim to be a witness to an event that one was not, in fact, a witness to; and in contradiction of a statement made about that event made by someone who was, in fact, a witness to.

But this also pertains when the ‘event’ does not occur in the space-time reality; but is, instead, the receiving of a specific Revelation.

The resurrection” is not a concept or a belief; but a direct, unmediated, experience of the Revelation of the Memory of Creation, the Revelation of the Memory of ‘the Fall’ into the dualistic consciousness of the “self” and the ‘thinker’, and the revelation of the memories of previous lives; which, by the way, is not precisely identical to the spontaneous recovery of the memories of previous lives:

Thus, when the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’ assert that “the resurrection” is the raising of a dead physical body from the grave; they are, in fact, claiming to have received, or to be a ‘witness’ to a Revelation that they were not, in fact, a witness to; thereby ‘bearing false witness’ against those who have received that Revelation.

On the contrary, the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’ have a specifically Moral responsibility to tell the Truth about “the resurrection”; or, in accordance with Chapter 20, verse 16 of Exodus, to admit that they have no Knowledge about the “resurrection”.

More pointedly, they have a specifically Moral responsibility NOT to ‘bear false witness’ against those who have received that Revelation.

That is, lying about the Revelation of “the resurrection” is no less a blasphemous and idolatrous violation of the Law than was the creation and worship of the ‘golden calf’-Zionist state of Israel, the worship of Jesus as ‘God’, or the assertion that Mohammed is “the last prophet”.
