Deputy Foreign Minister Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) said Netanyahu “hoped and believed” the invitation was “bi-partisan, as the invite letter said — ‘a bi-partisan initiative’ — but because of the tensions between Congress and the [Obama] administration, [and] between Republicans and Democrats, a problem erupted.”
Speaking to 102 FM Tel Aviv Radio, Hanegbi, who is a close confidant of the PM, acknowledged that the row that has flared up between Israel and the Obama administration following the announcement that Netanyahu would speak to Congress about the Iranian nuclear threat presented a “dilemma.”
Boehner’s January 21 invitation to Netanyahu, indeed, stated: “It is my honor, on behalf of the bipartisan leadership of the US House of Representatives and the US Senate, to extend to you an invitation to appear before and address a joint meeting of Congress on Wednesday, February 11, 2015″ — the originally scheduled date. Herzog: Netanyahu must cancel his speech to Congress
In Israel, Netanyahu’s chief rival in the March 17 general elections, Labor chief and Zionist Camp leader Isaac Herzog, said the premier must cancel his trip to the US due to the antagonism his address — which was coordinated with House Majority Leader John Boehner without involving the White House — has caused in Washington.
“The time has come when Bibi (Netanyahu) must announce the cancellation of his visit to Congress,” Herzog said in a speech at an international security conference in Munich. “In conversations I’ve held with many European and US leaders, it is clear there is great anger over Netanyahu diverting the discussion on Iran’s nuclear program for political gain, and turning it into a confrontation with the president of the United States.”

“The Vice President’s office expects that the vice president will be traveling abroad during the joint session of Congress,” a US official said.
The announcement was the latest blow to the PM, who has been under increasing pressure to cancel the speech.
As president of the Senate, Biden would typically attend a joint meeting of Congress, putting the White House in a bind because of its irritation about Netanyahu’s visit. The White House has accused Netanyahu and congressional Republicans of breaching diplomatic protocol by arranging the address without coordinating with the administration.
Biden’s overseas trip allows the White House to avoid the awkwardness of having the vice president sit behind Netanyahu during the address. It’s unclear where the vice president plans to travel, though his office said the unspecified trip was in the works before the prime minister’s trip was announced. Read more

It will come as a profound shock to DD to learn that Israel has not been Israel since 70 AD, or maybe even earlier.

In fact the jews tried, but each time, they were prevented from continuing the work by inexplicable major accidents, and even fire coming out of the foundations as they attempted to rebuild, in defiance of the divine will.
The Lord Jesus Christ does not say anything in vain.
Therefore, listen very carefully as He says this.
“Let there be no fruit from thee henceforth for ever”.
Again, listen as He says
“The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”.
This was no sudden rash decision.
Listen to Him in the OT;
“Thus saith the Lord of Hosts, Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again.”
And so who are the Jews?
