The whole point of the Old testament was it’s constant pointing to Christ. The Ancient Hebrews whole purpose was to bring the Redeemer into the world . With that accomplished they had fulfilled their purpose . But they refused to except Christ and enter the Church age so they were cut off. Deuteronomy 11:27 and 11:28 explains the reason. The modern state of Israel has as much to do with the kingdom of Israel as Rome NY has to do with Ancient Rome. Those that believe otherwise are in for a rude awakening when they realize they are quite different entities .
