MINDSHIFT: The Rapture for Dummies
The most misunderstood eschatological doctrine in the whole bible is the timing of the return of Jesus Christ. The latest MINDSHIFT episode, The Rapture for Dummies, capitalizing on the popular Books for Dummies series, takes a serious look at the controversy and offers a bible-based alternative view.
It explains quite simply the reason why there are so many divergent opinions on the matter. And of course, we’d all prefer to believe that we’ll all be out of here before things get hot and heavy. However, that’s not the case.
The reason why most misunderstand the timing of the rapture is because teachers do not understand the difference between the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord. And that’s how they get the timing all wrong.
Whole generations of Christians have, unfortunately, been presented a view of the timing of His return that is simply not true nor is it based on what the scriptures clearly teach. And the problematic fact of this false teaching is that most Christians will not be prepared for the dangerous days ahead. The global persecution of Christians we presently see reported on the news segues well with the teaching within the video.

Rapture is an emotion, an internal high, ecstasy, not an external event where people will be physically sucked up into the sky high. Der.
Come on now, use what few brain cells you have, how would that work in reality??? The giant invisible fairy story character is going to get out it’s giant invisible vacuum cleaner to suck up all the Christians??? Now that I would actually pay good money to see… good riddance to bad rubbish. The meek inherit the Earth,.. atheists. Can you get on with already?
