Anticipated obituaries

What is an anticipated obituary?

An anticipated obituary is, by definition, an obituary written BEFORE the death of a person. It is common for news agencies to keep pre-written obituary for public figures, famous and high-profile people who are still alive.
It is by no means a death announcement nor an anticipation of death.

“IS SHE STILL IN THE BUILDING OR HAS SHE PULLED AN ELVIS?”

Eh? What you mean you think she pigged out, eaten herself into an early death, as per Elvis? I expect she’s on one of her may extended all expenses paid vacations in some luxury resort somewhere. Why not, it’s not like she has to pay for it, you Americans are.
