The Third Temple and The 7 Year Tribulation

Tuesday, June 23, 2015 2:01

(Before It's News)

Dazzling1Every time I was lectured on the tribulation I was told a few things it begins with a peace treaty signed between Israel and Palestine, there will be a third temple built and the abomination of desolation will occur at the half way point 3.5 years and it’s 7 years long. Today I’m going to challenge that entire foundation of teaching not to malign those who believe it, but to share some information I feel led to share that I came across while reading as well as researched a little deeper. I’m not saying I’m right, but I am introducing a new perspective. I hope everyone

The Jews will never have a 3rd temple in Jerusalem, at least not until they’ve had a 1st and 2nd temple. Judaism didn’t exist until some time after 70 CE, the invention of the political party called the Pharisees, and the Israelites 2nd temple was destroyed in 70 CE by Rome. The wailing wall they claim was the site of their temple is in fact the foundations of a fort. It’s housed a Mosque The Dome on the Rock for over a thousand years. What do they think will happen, that the Muslims are just going to hand one of the oldest mosques in the world over to a bunch of aggressive imposters to bulldoze?

    • History documents that temple 1 and temple 2 were already built and then destroyed. Judaism existed long before 70 CE. The Dome of the Rock sits South of the original site used for the first and second temples. The Bible clearly tells the Jews to omit the outer courtyard when building the third temple. Since the Jews refused to claim the right to build on the temple mount its control was ceded to the Muslims. Recent statements made by Muslim leaders hints that we will soon see the third temple of Solomon built in Jerusalem. The Jews will not destroy Satan’s worship place when they build the third temple. Perhaps you; Pix would be best served if you were to PYHOOYA.

History documents 2 Israelite temples, not Jewish ones. The Jews are not the Israelites, they are the Pharisees a late bronze age political party, not a religion. The Dome on the Rock sit’s on top of the site, not south of it. The site used to be a fort, not a temple.

Never mind me pulling my head out of my backside, you need to read some real history, not Jewish fables, and your political slander tactics (The Jews will not destroy Satan’s worship place…) only proves you’re argument has no merit.

        • Thank you for confirming that I was doing the correct thing when I read “some real history” and then incorporate real history in what I write. Perhaps calling an Israelite a Jew or Jewish, in some way, is incorrect but since the Bible refers to the twelve tribes of God’s chosen people as Jews and since the Bible tells us that Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies soon before Jesus’ return and since Jews are in the land that God gave the Jewish tribes it is reasonable that Jews will build the 3rd temple of Solomon. Nowhere have I used political slander tactics. Yahweh is the ‘Great I Am’ (a.k.a. God). Neither the Israelis or the Jews have destroyed the Dome of the Rock. Since the Muslims worship only Allah and do not worship Yahweh: Who do you think they worship? If you read some real history you may see that Allah and Satan are one-in-the-same. The 3rd temple of Solomon hasn’t been built yet. I don’t think it will be built before the ‘Covenant With Many’ is accepted by Israel or the Jews.

    • This world will end next year. Sorry no time for new temple, will the Vatican do?

    • I believe most people, in general, consider Jews to be Israelites, Judeans, or someone of the 12 tribes. They are not using the word “Jews” in a literal historic sense as you appear to do. Regardless of the ethnicity the so-called Jews actually are a product, they consider themselves as Jews or Israelites and they also highly desire a temple. Scripturally speaking, I believe a temple will be built, Arab or no Arab.

      • Pix

The Jews are not Judeans they all come from eastern Europe, where their king way back when decided his countries belief system would be based on Judaism, which is a financial political model of the political party called the Pharisees, not spirituality or a religion. There is no such thing as the 12 tribes of Judah in a global context, if they existed at all they were insignificant local Arabic tribes/families, that lived locally in Judea, all of which were wiped off the face of Earth in 70 CE by the Roman empire.

“Regardless of the ethnicity the so-called Jews actually are a product, they consider themselves as Jews or Israelites..” A Klingon Star Trekkie is a fan, not a Klingon, regardless of how much they want you to believe otherwise.

“Scripturally speaking, I believe a temple will be built, Arab or no Arab.” So how are the 14 million Jews going to force the 1 billion 600 million muslims into handing the site over to them? You have no idea what you’re talking about.

  • As I wrote in   Antichrist 2016-2019: Mystery Babylon, Barack Obama & the Islamic Caliphate

“the reestablishment of some form of Third Temple in Jerusalem is crucial by June 2016 if an Antichrist is going to be revealed to the world from it. The focus of historical events linked to tetrads of blood moons on Jewish holidays also fits this idea.

Although Biltz does not make a claim that the Third Temple will be rebuilt near this tetrad of eclipses, many others do. In John Hagee’s book: Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change, he asks: “What historical event will take place during their occurrences that is significant to Israel and the Jewish people?” Let’s consider the narrowing geographic focus of events associated with the only tetrads of total lunar eclipses falling exclusively on Passover and Sukkot since the 15th century:

The World – In 1492 the Jews were expelled from Spain, the Spanish officially discovered the Americas, and the Jews spread out to live in many new countries. This worldwide diaspora included the United States, where eventually there were more Jews than in Israel. Within one year of these historical events there was a holiday tetrad of blood moons in 1493 and 1494.

The Nation of Israel – Israel was re-established as a nation in 1948, and within a year of this independence there was a blood moon tetrad on the Passovers and Sukkots of 1949 and 1950.

The City of Jerusalem – Israelis reunited all of Jerusalem under Jewish rule after recapturing East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in 1967. Within a year, there was a similar tetrad in 1967 and 1968.

The Temple – Some Israelis have wanted to build a new Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount ever since 1967. With Hamas rockets being fired from Gaza into Jerusalem as I write this, the possibility exists that one could destroy the Dome of the Rock Mosque. If it is destroyed, whether by war or a fanatic or any other cause, such destruction would remove the main obstacle to Jewish claims over the entire Temple Mount. Or perhaps the lost Ark of the Covenant is discovered, prompting the establishment of a Temple to properly house it. My research points to the reestablishment of some form of Third Temple in Jerusalem no later than June 6, 2016. This would be within a year of the tetrads of holiday blood moons in 2014 and 2015 and seems to fit the increasingly focused geographical fulfillment of prophetic events near blood moon tetrads.”

  • A lot of good thought. This is one thing I have found that few realize and it has to do with “the maths”.
these two verses point to something that is in Israel right now.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on a corner of the altar will be abominations that desolate, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall pour out on the desolator.

Dan 12:11 And from the time the regular sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates set up, a thousand, two hundred and ninety days shall occur.

First the Dome of the Rock is built on a site that would have been at the corner of the Temple.

Secondly the daily sacrifice was stopped in Jerusalem in the year 583 BC and the dome of the rock was begun building in 685 AD and finished in 705 AD, thus fitting the terms of the maths of two thousand two hundred and ninety days if they are turned into years.

ISLAM began because supposedly Mohammad ascended into heaven from the site of the Dome of the Rock. I think you and I can agree that Islam has made the middle east and much of its population desolate in many ways the biggest, spiritually.

I think you are doing great,

Keep learning from the Word for yourself and realize this, traditions of men are usually based on lies from the adversaries of YHWH. I am proud of you for thinking outside the box the church has given us and seeing for yourself what the Word actually says instead of depending on the words of men.

May Father continue to bless you with HIS TRUTHS.

  • “peace treaty signed between Israel and Palestine, there will be a third temple built and the abomination of desolation will occur at the half way point 3.5 years and it’s 7 years long.”

That entire theory was made up as part of the Counter-Reformation.

All of the Reformers knew and taught the truth. The papacy is and always has been the antichrist.

  • This girl needs to take a nap….. Leave your historical research and biblical theories to the educated.

  • A 3rd temple ?

What, do they think they are going to stick their god back into the
    3rd room ?

Do they think that by putting a temple there, that God is interested in living
in their little room, with that gold plated capacitor ?

The Blood of Y’shua blots out all of the works of their UNbelief . Glory !

    • green herb…I believe they don’t even believe it. I think it is part of the satanic attack on God’s children, the world over. Its a chance to make even more people more PI$$ED, to light the fires of even more blood-lust.

    • The Ark of the Covenant disappeared when the first temple was destroyed, therefore there was no Ark of the Covenant in the second temple and of course, no Shekinah glory of God either. Unless the world gets a shock with the found location of the Ark, it will not be in the new temple either. All sin sacrifices came to an end with the death of Jesus Christ as the ultimate Lamb of God. Therefore, in my opinion, the third temple will be for the glory of the Jews and the beast/antichrist and God will have no part in it other than its role for last-days events.

  • No seven year tribulation, it has been shortened down to Satan’s 42 months and Yahweh’s wrath to follow which comes out to approximately 4 years.

  • Angels cannot look like a human being.
Genesis 6:2 – The Sons of God took human women as wives and had children. These are not the sons of Seth and the daughters of Cain because they produced giants.

Genesis 18 – Abraham is visited by three men. They eat, drink, and look like men but they are heavenly entities and one may be the Lord Jesus.

Genesis 19 – Lot, living in Sodom, is visited by two angels. They look like men and they eat as men.

    7 year peace treaty
I will agree with this statement because there is no mention of a peace treaty and the covenant with many is not a peace treaty. God made covenants with Noah, Abraham (reiterated with sons), Moses, and David. This covenant to be confirmed or established is most likely the Mosaic covenant. Other than a peace treaty, some exegetes such as Chris White consider the covenant to be a restart of the sacrificial system that will annulled when the beast/antichrist declares himself to be “god”. The duration of seven years may not be a part of the covenant but is just the period of time the covenant can last from the point of view of God. Dr. Michael Heiser does not consider it to be a peace treaty or a sacrificial agreement at all.

There is not a 7 year tribulation period
Since the final week of Daniel 9:27 is not a peace treaty (and it may not be a last-days covenant at all) this eliminates the initial proof of a 7 year tribulation period. However, there are several indications of 3 ½ years (or 42 months or time, times, and half a time) given in Daniel and the Revelation that a period of 7 years as a general final 7 years of time prior to the Millennium becomes a very good guess.

The “Many” in Daniel is the gentiles
This is strictly a guess. There is no evidence, one way or another, to imply who the “many” is referring to.

Lost tribes of Israel will discover themselves
Scripturally speaking 144,000 (12,000 from each of 12 tribes) will be marked by God and may understand their tribal affiliation. Other than that, there is no scriptural evidence that all or any of the so-called lost tribes will have knowledge of their Hebrew association until possibly the Millennium.

    The Temple
It is my opinion the temple will be rebuilt again immediately prior or during the so-called 70th week of Daniel. Matthew 24:15 is not a preterist prophecy. Some preterists will say the Romans placed a statue of Jupiter on the floor of the temple and this fulfilled the prophesy. However, the temple was completely torn down at this time, with no stone left on another, in fulfillment of the prophecy of Jesus. The statue was merely placed on the only available flat area to be found. Jesus is referring to the statue placed by Antiochus Epiphanes inside an actual temple. The abomination of desolation will likewise be placed in an actual temple.

“So when you see the abomination of desolation — spoken about by Daniel the prophet — standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
    (Matthew 24:15 NET)

The beast/antichrist seated in the temple is confirmed by Paul:

He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God.
    (2 Thessalonians 2:4 NET)

Does the Church (Christians / Saints / Redeemed) need a temple? No, they do not. Gentile Christians never needed a temple. The death of Jesus constituted the ultimate sacrifice for sins for all people of all times. The veil of the standing temple was torn in two revealing no further need for a priest to stand between God and the Kingdom subject. The only people still needing and longing for a temple are the Jews. The temple will be built by the Jews and for the Jews to allow their daily sacrifices and temple customs to begin anew. The beast/antichrist needs a temple to declare himself “god” and to place the abomination of desolation inside of it. Mystery Babylon will be Jerusalem with the temple, temple sacrifices, and the beast. The cargo products shown in Revelation 18:10-18 are for the furnishings of the temple and the priests. • If it comes from John Ale, it’s not worth reading.

  • I remember years ago discussing the idea of the temple being rebuilt with someone.

I told the brother that it didn’t feel right to me, that we are the temple.

Why would God tear down something that He would want to use later, and why would He let that system stay in place when now Jesus is our high priest?

I was thinking, we have so MANY Christians who believe that the third temple will be rebuilt, I mean tons of people, and huge names, and large denominational movements within Chritiandom, who hold this view.

    The problem for them is…

Let’s just look at it in the natural… In order to have some guy to sit in the temple and proclaim to be God requires a physical building, called the temple.

Now IF no temple is built, and I’m pretty sure that is what is going to happen. Then what conclusion will these poor multitude of people come to…

    They would only have 3.

    1) They miss-interpreted the prophecy.
2). It already happened (meaning someone sat in the temple and fulfilled this prophecy already).
3). God lied. (We know this is impossible)…

So what will they do? They will probably abandon their faith…

And we are not even considering the really big hope that they trust in, the traditional interpretation of the rapture, and the ramifications if it doesn’t happen as they suspect.

What if God snatches us out of the fire and leaves us on this earth, providing for us in a place like Goshen…

That will really freak them out… Or what if they can accept, there is a Goshen (IF I’m right) and God chooses who gets to abide there and who doesn’t…

These things, all taught by men, will bring these people to the end of their hope, and they will be devastated.

What a time we live in…

  • Again….this narrator…young girl….needs to take speech lessons. Her videos are terrible…down right sloppy work. She slurs words…talks too fast…run on statements…does NOT enunciate…constant monotone. Give up the videos young girl….you need hours and hours of practice. You disappoint the listener….again had to stop the video….too painful. Had to do the same with the 13th tribe videos…..stop listening because they were NOT enjoyable to listen to.

Why would you encourage someone to give up just for trying to get a point across? Not everyone is a born talented speaker. At least she is making the effort.

  • The Khazar imposters who founded Zionism and the modern state of Israel, were either Talmudic or atheistic “Jews”. They are of no relation to the ancient Israelites and have no business claiming anything in Palestine. Instead of worrying about a temple to usher in the anti Christ, maybe they should worry about removing all of their illegally occupied settlements. Maybe they should think about paying reparations required by international law, to the millions of civilians they have mercilessly displaced. Maybe people who support these tyrants have already lost their souls. What is the reason for supporting the worlds worst violator of human rights? They are not who they claim to be, their ancestors converted to Talmudic Judaism as did the whole nation of Khazaria, under Khagan Bulan in 740 ad. They are no more chosen by God than anyone else.

  • This is more Scofield Dispensationalist teaching for Christian Zionist consumption – it has little truth in fact.
The reason for this is that Dispensationalism equates the NATION of Israel with BIBLICAL Israel – chalk and cheese. A fatal error that leads to an incorrect view of Bible prophecy.

Why I support Israel and probably always will: (A Christian Zionist parody with thanks to Kerux)

I’ve been going to church for most of my life in which the “pastor’ was spoon fed the lies of the Zionist-backed Cyrus I Scofield reference Bible in Bible College, which he then enthusiastically spoon fed to me.

I’ve been watching the Jewish controlled news networks all my life – and they have spoon fed me the same lies found in the Scofield Bible, i.e., the Jews are “God’s Chosen” and those who support Israel God blesses and those who persecute the Jews, God curses. Never mind that there were no Jews in existence when Abram was chosen by God. Jews didn’t come into existence until hundreds of years later, and when they did, God’s Son condemned them, but hey, let’s not muddle my thinking. Thinking for myself is all too confusing to me and I don’t have time to look into those facts.

These same Jewish controlled networks also filter out any views that are even remotely anti-Jewish. Therefore, what I have seen on TV for the last 50 years is basically only what the Jews have wanted me to see – and more importantly BELIEVE!

I’ve watched hundreds of Hollywood movies produced by Jews like Spielberg, who do nothing but subtly or overtly promote the Jewish upside-down view of our world. I’ve never seen a movie about the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff or the Jewish Bolshevik Russian Revolution when Czar Nickolas and his entire family were murdered by the “you know who’s”. Or how the Jews [Brandeis] blackmailed Woodrow Wilson to enter the United States into WWI which then resulted in WWII where countless millions were killed.

I was “educated” at a public school, and there was trained to be a consumer, not a citizen, willing and able to defend my liberty as given to me by my Creator, because my Creator has been excluded from public school and thus from much of my life. The Ten Commandments were removed by the usual suspects and the Jew Karl Marx’s Ten Planks of Communism were put in their place. I’ve been practicing jewish communism all my life without even knowing it.

I dare not investigate any historical event, such as the holocaust, because to do so would be antisemitic, and, being a good well trained consumer of Jewish propaganda, I don’t want to be labelled an antisemite, holocaust “denier” or, (horror of horrors) a Jew hater.

Therefore, I feel comfortable in using ad hominem attacks whenever a free thinking non-brainwashed citizen doesn’t think the same way I do, because to do otherwise would mean I would have to change my world paradigm to fit the reality of the world around me, and that change is far too disconcerting.

Therefore, Israel must be right, always, no matter what they do including the horrific crimes they continually commit. When they eventually become responsible for my death, like they did to the tens of millions of Russians during the mid 1900s, and are doing now to the Palestinians people (a lot of whom are Christians) in Gaza, it will not be their fault, but the fault of those who oppose Israel. I will simply be collateral damage.

  • Zionism is a mental illness John.
