Questions for Pope Francis When He Visits the United States

(Before It's News)

1) Some 800 years ago, Dominican monks debated the Albigensians of southern France over whether the doctrine of “the resurrection” is a Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’.

The Dominican monks lost the debate; whereupon the Albigensian Crusade was initiated, and at least tens of thousands of Albigensians were exterminated for teaching the Doctrine that Jesus taught.

(And, for your convenience, I am including here a brief explanation of the Doctrine of “the resurrection” taught by Jesus:

something which, no doubt, you have never read before.)

2) Does the Vatican in any way consider the Roman church to be responsible for these crimes against humanity?

3) And what does the Vatican intend to do to repent of these evils—genuine repentance, of course, necessarily including the commitment not to sin again?

4) A number of previous popes have written papal bulls for the purpose of ‘justifying’ slavery. And, given that the doctrine of papal infallibility is retro-active, is it possible for you to renounce such ‘justifications’ for slavery without threatening the doctrine of papal infallibility itself?

5) As a result of the tens of millions of the black peoples of Africa who either died or who were enslaved as a direct consequence of the aforementioned papal bulls, does the Vatican consider itself to be in any way responsible for the endemic racism in the United States to this day?

6) Does the Vatican have any plans to pay reparations for the sufferings of the black peoples of Africa caused by the publication of the aforementioned papal bulls?

7) And, if not, why not?

8) Evidence has been amassed by several independent researchers, clearly and incontrovertibly demonstrating the reality of the memories of previous lives; see, for example:

http://www.medicine.virginia.edu/clinical/departments/psychiatry/sections/cspp/dops/dr.-tuckers-publications/REI37.pdf

Meanwhile, in the 1991 (as I recall) Easter edition of L’Osservatore Romano—published, no doubt, under the infallible supervision and guidance of the pope at that time—there was an article that stated quite emphatically that memories of previous lives constitutes ‘evidence of demonic possession’, rather than evidence that people actually live more than one life.

So, which is it, in your infallible estimation?

What would you have the next generation of Roman Catholics believe with regards to memories that people claim to have received of previous lives?

Are they real, or are they evidence of demonic possession?

9) What do you consider—once again, in your infallible estimation—to be of more significance: environmental concerns and issues with regards to the family; or the theological origins of religious extremist violence, and whether or not Christian theology is an accurate reflection of the Teaching of Jesus?

10) Can you please explain to me why the prophet Mohammed was NOT Elijah and John the Baptist ‘raised from the dead’ in fulfillment of the Prophecy of Malachi and the Prophecy of Jesus (in Chapter 17:12 & 13 of the Gospel of Matthew)?

11) How much of the Vaticans gold was by ‘acquired’ by the Spanish Conquistadores after they had exterminated hundreds of thousands or millions of the indigenous peoples (Incas, Aztecs, etc.) of the Americas? Are you aware of how much blood and suffering that gold represents? When you see all of that gold in the Vatican, do you get a creepy feeling? And do you have any plans of ridding yourself and the Vatican of such riches? Why or why not?

(Inquiring Roman Catholic minds want to know.)

Oh, by the way, I’m just getting started.

I hope, Insh’allah, to have many more questions for you before your arrival.

Eagerly awaiting your replies.

And have a nice day.
