Transsexualism, also known as transgenderism, Gender Identity Disorder (GID), or gender dysphoria, is a desire to change one’s sex or to fulfill the role of the opposite gender. Transsexuals / transgenders usually describe themselves as “trapped” in a body that does not match their gender. They will probably practice transvestism / transvestitism and may also seek hormone therapy and/or surgery to bring their bodies into conformity with their perceived gender.
The Bible has plenty to say about human sexuality. Most basic to our understanding of sex is that God created two (and only two) genders: “male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27). All the modern-day speculation about numerous genders—or even a gender “continuum” with unlimited genders—is unbiblical.
In Psalm 139, we learn that God fashions each one of us. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. . . . My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. . . . your eyes saw my unformed body” (verses 13-16). God’s creation of each individual must surely include His designation of gender/sex. His wonderful work leaves no room for mistakes; no one is born with the “wrong body.”
After the fall of man, it did not take long for gender issues to become confused. In Abraham’s day, homosexuality was widespread in some cities (Genesis 19:1-7; Jude 7). The Bible is unmistakably clear that homosexuality is a sinful perversion of God’s gift of sexuality (Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
In the Law, transvestism / transvestitism was specifically forbidden: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this” (Deuteronomy 22:5).
Another possible reference to transsexualism is1 Corinthians 6:9, where “male prostitutes” is listed as a separate category from “homosexual offenders.” The King James Version uses the word “effeminate” here; that is to say, the “male prostitutes” might be transsexual men who act as women.
No matter if the gender distortion has a genetic, hormonal, physiological, or psychological cause, the Bible clearly and consistently labels any sexual activity outside of marriage or not between a man and a woman as sin, rebellion against God’s plan. But following this realization is good news: sin can be forgiven and lives can be changed through faith in Christ. The Corinthian believers are an example of such a change: “And [homosexuals] is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11). There is hope for any sinner, transsexuals, transgenders, and transvestites included, because of God’s forgiveness available in Jesus Christ.

Sorry for the joke but yeah…simply getting a sex change won’t make you a woman. The amount of hormones your body will have to get used to will send you into premature aging, destroying your male reproductive capabilities, obviously. Your body will fight with these hormonal imbalances that will roughly resemble female menopause for possibly your whole life.
Not worth the years and years of agony in my opinion.
Either that, or you neither have, nor seek, understanding.
Your understanding is darkened, as we would predict in someone not reborn of the Spirit of God.
Where you say that God says it’s OK to sell your daughter as a “sex slave”, are you adding the word “sex”?
Do you know how God hates anyone who adds to, or subtracts from, His Word?
Is transgenderism un-biblical? Yup.
Is transgenderism now a reality? Yup.
Are you going to fight reality with the bible? Yup.
Is it going to make a lick of difference? Nope
Demons will twist a person at any chance they can get and make you think it is your idea through your emotions, intellect and pride.
Only Jesus can close the gaps if you ask Jesus into your life to help you!

God made Eve, a cloned transgendered mate for Adam, and according to the original material, after Adam rejected Lilith the original women for refusing to be subservient. Perhaps that explains why religious men are damaged in the head when it comes to women, and religious women are all shrinking violets, the result of incest, Adam and his cloned rib. Lilith the real women must of travelled north, Norse women are strong and every bit up for a fight as the men.
It truly surprises me, how so many folks can be so uneducated about common medical problems, and how they use that ignorance as a tool to harm others.
I recently lost a friend. The tide of hate was too much for them, and they, sadly, took their own life.
Let’s be clear here. You can be genetically female, but still grow up as a male. The opposite is true. Your cells are not perfect, and there are a multitude of factors that can cause your body to express itself in a gender that does not match your brains wiring.
It’s like being born without an arm. Do you tell someone without a limb that it’s unnatural for them to want one, even though their brain is saying otherwise? How could they possibly know they want one if they never had it to begin with?
Fact is, there isn’t any reason to even get involved. It’s a medical discussion, not a religious one.
and.. if you really want to make it a religious one, saying it is part of your religion, than it is against the law to speak out against it, as you must allow religious freedom.
Either way, using one persons error in judgement, in a vain attempt to prove all transgendered people wrong, is so ludicrous that I can’t even begin to understand the logic behind it. People make mistakes, yes, but using one persons mistake in an effort to prove your point, is shamefully low. Low.
I hope, one day, you realize that anyone who works to cause others pain, probably wouldn’t be wanted in any heaven… man made or otherwise.
No religion and no surgery is needed to address, the over-feminizing of men that’s taking place today.
FYI – It has been known for centuries by women of Asian cultures that when they wanted to diminish the sexual drive of men, all they had to do was feed them, unfermented soy.
Unfermented soy is an endocrine disruptor and when it is ingested on a daily basis, it has catastrophic effects on the human body, both male and female. Go ahead and do the research yourself on the effects of unfermented soy on the human body, and be sure to check the food labels. In America, you will quickly learn how much unfermented soy, you and your family is ingesting and that nearly every processed food in America contains unfermented soy. This consumption translates into multiple and daily servings of endocrine disruptors.
REMOVE all unfermented soy products from the diet and the over-feminizing of men will cease to be. Transgenderism and the feminizing of men is the result of daily consumption of endocrine disruptors. Eliminate endocrine disruptors from the diet. Problem solved.
This would make sense yuckfoo, if everyone consumed soy products. Transgendered folks, (both male and female sides) have been around for much longer than our modern day consumption of soy.
All things considered, your argument is self defeating anyway. If you think that someones hormonal balance can make them lgbt, then it stands to reason that the conditions for being bi/gay/tg can exist without the ingestion of soy.
Or maybe, there would be a whole lot of women who want to be men, but soy has saved them from this fate! Always look at things from both sides my friend.

Those who are being referred to today as ‘transgender’ have not been around longer than our modern day consumption of unfermented soy. If you are referring to a history of men/women who dressed in opposite sex clothing, who performed as the opposite sex in theaters etc, these historical occurrences is not evidence of ‘transgenderism’.
That said, please don’t put things in my mouth that I did not say. I have said nothing about homosexuals nor bisexuals in my prior posting, nor have I intimated that a diet change with homosexuals & bisexuals can alter their sexual orientation. What & who is being referred to today and in this article is ‘transgenders’ and what is happening with these people has absolutely nothing to do sexual orientation. Transgenderism isn’t a ‘sexual orientation’, ThoughtForFood, so kindly stop lumping them in with lgb’s as if they are.

The use of fetal stem cells in vaccines, food & drink products, medicines etc. It is well-documented that a major drawback of taking in the human body parts of others is side-effects and expressions of rejection. For all we know, transgenders could be the result of one or more (co-morbid) influences. What I do know is that this condition has shown itself in recent decades and the numbers are isolated in modern western civilizations. IOW, there are no ‘transgenders’ in primal tribal cultures.

People are free to do what ever they wish to themselves, if they change their minds after, that is their problem, nobody elses. I don’t see it as being any different than someone having and regretting a tattoo or face lift. The fact they changed their minds after, doesn’t mean people who support them are evil. Being supportive of people who want to change gender is not hate. Stop trying to spin the truth to massage your own bigotry. People make stupid choices they regret later, it’s a condition called ‘human being’. The only difference between us is that I’m a human being, while you are being something else, ie a self appointed judgemental prick.

I understand what you’re saying re being supportive of choices others make. I too, have no problem with this ‘live and let be’ approach to what others do to themselves. What I take issue with is the IMPOSING of such belief onto others and the making & forcing of children & others to be ‘educated’ to ‘accept’ these people as ‘normal’ when they are not normal. I take issue with politicians creating legislation that gives these people ‘special consideration’ and ‘protections’, ie the bullying coercive indoctrination of others now occurring across this nation and in our schools. This is WAY over-the-line and well beyond any individual who makes a choice for themself. If these people kept their ‘choice’ to themself and they did not expect nor seek to demand or coerce others into accepting them, fine. But you and I both know that this is not what is happening.
Oh and one more thing Pix …. What’s happening with these people isn’t normal, it’s an aberration that’s likely due to one or more toxic environmental elements. Case in point, there are no reported cases of ‘transgenders’ occurring in primal tribal cultures. ALL cases of ‘transgenders’ are occurring in modern western civilizations and no where else.
It is certainly heart wrenching to learn of a male who went to such lengths as amputating their sex organs in pursuit of a gender transition only to learn that the concept of gender identity disorder is fundamentally flawed. Walt Heyer’s story that when he was five-years-old his grandmother dressed him in female appropriate clothing is a common narrative of male-to-female transsexuals. In effect she was tampering with Walt’s arousal-based sexual identity and not his gender identity. Gender identity forms at approximately age twelve months before we can walk. Male children gravitate to games that have clear winners and losers while female children gravitate to play that involves acting out relationships. Our gender identity is immutable from twelve months onward. That is why when these people, who identify as transsexual, reach Exhaustion (stage five of autogynephilic addiction).
My name is G Eugene Pichler. In 2008 I published a book, The Transsexual Delusion, The Men and Women Who Transgress Gender Norms, with a number of other journalists. In the book I look at transsexualism as a behavioral addiction, much like a sex addiction, Internet addiction or pathological gambling addiction, which is caused by a faulty reward system in the human brain. I further report that the medications that effectively treat behavioral addictions show good results in treating transsexualism. In fact modern research shows that the drugs that effectively treat epilepsy treat behavioral addictions. Further, a study by Jan Wålinder [Göteborg, Sweden], dated 1967, shows that epilepsy is effectively absent in transsexuals, who are successfully treated for epileptic seizures according to 43 case studies dating back to 1954.
I found that male-to-female transsexuals that were effectively treated for ancillary mental disorders and took anticonvulsant medications, watched their proclivities towards a gender transition evaporate, indicating the underlying cause of transsexualism is in fact an addiction, e.g., a mental disorder, that can be effectively treated with medication.
Also significant is the male-to-female ratio of transsexualism. In 1967 Wålinder observed the male-to-female ratio of transsexualism as 2.8 to 1. It is now generally accepted that the male-to-female ratio of transsexualism is 3 to 1, which is virtually the same as pathological gambling addiction (2.8 to 1) and sex addiction (3 to 1).
