Not true, the oldest Christian church is Armenian Orthodox, 3rd century CE. The Catholic church didn’t exist for at least another 200 years. Looks like your education is sadly lacking as well.
The word catholic is derived from the Greek kattholikos, meaning universal. The latin is catholicus. Examining the Greek kata is according to and holos is whole.
