Look at what’s been going on in the Episcopal church. They’ve been gay for decades. I grew up Episcopalian, but left when they started deviating. The one question I’ve always asked is who do they serve. Do they serve God? Or do they serve themselves, and their cuase? I think we all know the answer! I fully believe the tribulation starts in September. I also believe that homosexuality will be short lived, as they gather together and live in the same places. Isn’t it interesting that the source of the ills of the world (tv, movies, music, porn, LGBTQs) are concentrated in one area. Just like two well known historical places. I also believe that as Christians are taken, at the very same time there will be extreme disasters of Biblical proportions! And, in the chaos no one will know that it happened. The Tribulation is God’s wrath upon the unbelieving world, and not for those who are saved from Christ’s resurrection to the Rapture — called the Church. Yes believers have suffered all throughout human history, but there is a special time (just like the Flood) set apart called the Day of the Lord for God’s wrath. Christians suffering and the Tribulation/Day of the Lord are different.
True believers in Christ during the Church Age, represented by the Church of Philadelphia, are promised in Revelation 3:10, “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” Paul states in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, “and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” He also states in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:9 states, “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” Ephesians 5:6 states, “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.” Colossians 3:4 states, “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Again and again, Scripture states the Church is not meant to endure God’s wrath.
Yes. There is a rapture! It won’t include all those who call themselves Christian, and are not. God’s wrath is preserved for the non-believers. Not for the faithful.

In the tribulation, believers are indeed spared from the wrath of God, as the Word says. But believers will not be spared from the ravages of the beast, as the Word says. You are conflating these two things. You asked “Who’s the restrainer?”. Good question. The restrainer is taken out of the way, against his will. The Holy Spirit never goes against the will of God. So the Holy Spirit cannot be the restrainer. The restrainer is the unholy spirit.
Those Christians who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture are in for a rude awakening. They will find themselves smack dab in the middle of the tribulation period and they will have not prepared themselves for it because they believe in a doctrine of demons. If your religion wants to excluded minority groups then advertise yourself as a private members only club and pay the appropriate tax rate.
