You can love God without the help of religion. In fact your relationship with God will be far better off without religion involved.

If you sincerely want to love God, be with God, live God’s will, know God as your Mother and Father, the Creators and Parents of your soul – of you; if you want to get to know Them, then you only need look to your feelings and they will guide you.

We don’t need organised religion to help us get closer to God.  No matter what you might think and feel, even if your religion has helped you get closer to God and you are happy with that, still the truth is, which you come to if and when you decide to allow your true feelings to guide you, that your beloved religion is standing between you and God.  It is not helping you as much as you think, and is in fact hindering you in many ways.

We can’t ascend in truth to Paradise to meet with and be with God our Mother and Father – we can’t be with Them soul to Soul, until we meet Them solely through our feelings and without our mind and it’s beliefs having anything to do with it.

With our minds we can of course decide we want to get to know God, but it’s only with our feelings, as with any real and true relationship, can we actually get to know God.  Anyone can read information and adopt a bunch of beliefs about God, but that’s not the same as FEELING your relationship with God.

Many people poo-poo the whole notion and idea of God because they don’t understand they can relate to God through and with their feelings and without needing an intermediary like a religion; and when they do, then God becomes personal: you can personally experience Them and know They are real and your Mother and Father.  And yes, of course you can have such experiences within your religion, and some religions even help one to begin establishing a personal relationship with God, however they then limit the relationship because of the beliefs one has to abide by, such beliefs giving control to ones mind over ones feelings.

Does a young child need a bunch of beliefs to help it express itself and get to know God?  A true child operates through feelings, it’s only after it’s made to add beliefs that it starts to limit its feeling-expression.  It is told, and so believes, it can’t be like that or say that, it is told it must conform, all of which destroys its natural feeling expression causing it to become untrue.

To be free in your relationship with God (to be free in any relationship), for it to evolve wherever your Mother and Father wants it to go, you have to be rid of such limiting and controlling beliefs, which you can only do by looking to your feelings.

A feeling-led relationship is far more fruitful and loving than a mental one.  And even though in your religion you might have lots of very intense feelings feeling very close and attuned to God, still your mind will be loaded with controlling and regulating beliefs, all of which will mean you are conditioning the relationship you could have.

Can you step outside your religion with your relationship with God still holding up?  Or is it dependent on your religious commitment and ‘faith’?  And would it be right that God set one religion apart from all others saying everyone has to be this way or you won’t be able to get to know Me?

One day your relationship with God will lead you to outgrow your religion.  You will start pushing up against the boundaries feeling it restricting you: so what will you do then?  Then perhaps you’ll be ready to consider opening out your relationship with your Heavenly Mother and Father through your feelings.
