A lot as happened so far in September, but a lot hasn’t as well. What happened with the Shemitah? Also a revisit to a couple of items that were listed on the 27 things video, but also prep for a big week. Shemitah is not actually over, do NOT get all comfortable!

‘God decides the fate of nations’ (AMEN! DD)
Before rushing to write off the effects of the biblical Shemitah cycle on the nation’s economy, critics might want to step back and take a look at what has already happened and the direction things are heading.
August brought a gut-wrenching correction to the stock market, with billions of dollars lost in a 10 percent drop-off in value.
The first two weeks of September saw a mild upswing as Elul 29, the day of reckoning on the Hebrew calendar, came and went with nary a jolt being felt.
But as Shemitah researcher Jonathan Cahn has pointed out, the real damage of the Shemitah often occurs in its “wake,” in the Hebrew month of Tishrei. The U.S. market took another big hit Friday, falling 290 points to close at 16,385.
Cahn’s book, “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” points to at least 10 examples of financial and economic turmoil in the year of the Shemitah, including 1973, 1980, 1987, 1994, 2001 and 2008.
But only in 2001 and 2008 did record collapses occur on Elul 29, the last day of the year on the Hebrew calendar also known as the “wipe out day.”
And this year Elul 29 fell on a Sunday, when markets were closed, making it impossible for the market to react on the traditional day of “release” when all debts and credits were to be canceled once every seven years, according to Deuteronomy 15.
By far, the most prevalent of the Shemitah’s manifestations is that of a financial collapse that takes place not over the course of days or hours but months.
It appears to be happening that way again in the Shemitah of 2015.
In the years after the Shemitah of 2008, the stock market had been on a long-term ascent. But in May of 2015, as it had in past Shemitah years, the ascending came to an end. On May 20, the stock market reversed its momentum and began to slowly descend. The decline continued through the remainder of May into June, July, and to the end of August as the end of the Shemitah approached.
According to the Shemitah’s recurring pattern, the most dramatic effects are generally seen not at its beginning but as it approaches its close. So in 2015, as the Shemitah year approached its last quarter, its descent began. The Shemitah’s final month, Elul, beginning in mid-August saw world stock markets plunge and witnessed some of the most traumatic days in stock market history.

At the same time the Shemitah’s effect on the world’s new economic engine, China, was even more drastic. As the Shemitah entered its final phase, it wiped away a massive 30 percent of the Chinese stock market in just three weeks. At the end of July, the Chinese market plunged another 8.5 percent. On Aug. 24, in the Shemitah’s last weeks, the Shanghai index lost another nearly 8.5 percent in one day. Jonathan Cahn Blows September 13 Doomsday Prophecy?
After predicting for the entire last year that “The Shemitah” on Sunday, September 13, would usher in some cataclysmic event in America — possibly an economic crash, inclement weather, war or terrorist attacks — messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn appeared on “The 700 Club” today to save face (and sell more books) after September 13 came and went without anything out of the ordinary happening.
When host Pat Robertson asked him if anything noteworthy happened on the 13th, Cahn first tried to avoid the question but eventually told the televangelist that “you can’t put God in a box or He’ll get out of it,” saying that God doesn’t work in exact dates.
Of course, Cahn himself declared that this potential disaster would occur on an “exact date … in accordance with the ancient mystery” of the Shemitah, a day when the land is left fallow and debts are forgiven. “The coming Shemitah will end September 2015. Its final climatic day, Elul 29, the Day of Remission, will fall on Sunday, September 13,” he wrote in “The Mystery of the Shemitah.”
WorldNetDaily repeatedly reported on Cahn’s September 13 prophecy, with messages like “Mark This Date For Potential Disaster,” “Get Ready: Biblical Shemitah’ Begins This Week,” and “Countdown To Disaster.” WND is even making a movie about Cahn’s prophetic message.
Cahn, however, said that the stock market selloff that occurred on August 18 of this year came close enough to the September 13 date to count as a fulfillment of his prophecy. “It started in the summer,” he said. He also pointed to Sunday’s relatively minor earthquake off the Gulf of California, which is actually located in Mexico and doesn’t even touch the U.S. As if Cahn couldn’t get any more vague, he also said that the Shemitah period marked America’s decline from the world’s leading economic power. Leading Israeli Rabbi Says the Arrival of the Messiah is Imminent
“I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out.” (Ezekiel 20:34 )
Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading authority in mainstream Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, has been giving clear and unequivocal messages recently that the coming of the Messiah is imminent. He is urging Jews to make Aliyah as soon as possible. Aliyah, the Hebrew verb for “going up”, refers to immigrating to Israel, which is seen as higher spiritual action that can help herald in the coming of the Messiah.
It was reported that the Rabbi Kanievsky was presented with a pamphlet, written by Rabbi Yitzchak Ben Tzvi from the city of Bnei Brak, dealing with the End of Days and many other related prophecies. Rabbi Kanievsky, who is a pillar of the Jewish community and known for his authoritative books on Torah law, read the pamphlet carefully. After a short consideration, he told those around him that the pamphlet needed to be distributed and that Jews living outside Israel should return to their ancestral land.
In yet another instance of Rabbi Kanievsky’s call for aliyah, author Rabbi Yekutiel Fisch revealed advice that was given to his cousin, a teacher at a prominent Lakewood Yeshiva who visited Israel recently and went to Rabbi Kanievsky to receive a blessing at the end of his visit.
The Rabbi told him that he should not leave Israel because the Messiah would be arriving very soon. The teacher responded that he had 700 students waiting for him in Lakewood. Rabbi Kanievsky told him that he must bring all of the students to Israel. Upon his arrival in Lakewood, the story spread quickly, creating quite an impression on the students who all revere Rabbi Kanievsky.
After a lifetime of immersing himself in classical Jewish texts, Rabbi Kanievsky’s study partner informed various media sites that the Rabbi is talking about the messiah “all the time.” Since last summer’s war in Gaza, the Rabbi has been spreading this message of imminent return. In one instance, Rabbi Kanievsky instructed a Jew from Argentina who asked for a blessing that he should “gather your family and come to Israel. Otherwise, there won’t be enough room for you on the airplanes.”
When asked about the timing of the Messiah’s arrival, Rabbi Kanievsky answered, “At the end of the Sabbatical year.” Several people have asked the Rabbi to verify this and he has given the same answer each time. This year is the Sabbatical year and it will be ending on the 29th day of Elul, which, by the Gregorian calendar falls on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
In answer to Rabbi Kanievsky’s call, the Jews of France have begun to arrive in Israel in blessed droves. The impetus is certainly a reaction to increasing anti-Semitic and Islamic fueled violence across Europe.

His remarks drew criticism from some, however last week, in the wake of Ramadan violence in several countries including France, Zeev Elkin, the Israeli Minister of Immigration and Absorption, called on French Jews to make Aliyah, echoing his leader’s words.

I don’t care about “Rome’s challenge.” The old law (judaism) is clearly over. That includes the old sabbath that was attached to it. As a Christian, I follow Christ. He established the new day of rest when He resurrected on Sunday and also sent the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles,(Pentecost) which is the official start of the Church, on Sunday. Following old law means you are still looking for/waiting for the Messiah.

So why would anyone believe a tiny piffling insignificant minority cult with only 14 million followers, Judaism, would effect the largest global group, the Chinese and their economy? They have absolutely no connection with each other. China’s economy is based on gold, so any fluctuation in it’s currency are quick to recover, in comparison if the same happens in fiat currency systems like the USA dollar, which is only based on hot air and wishful thinking, would be utterly devastated, it’s not backed by anything.

September/Oct — the 7th month in the Hebrew calendar is the 3rd Holy Season of each year and God’s plan calls for the return of Jesus Christ at the Feast of Trumpets, the putting away of Satan on the Day of Atonement and the 1000 year reign of Christ begins on the First day of the Feast of Tabernacles.
The Beast and the False Prophet begin their 1260 day reign at the beginning of the 5th Seal which is the Great Tribulation. and that time begins on Passover and ends 1260 days later on the Feast of Trumpets.
