Last week, the world witnessed the final lunar eclipse of the the latest blood moon tetrad. NASA refers to this particular event as a lunar eclipse and a group of 4 in succession as a tetrad. There is nothing inherently significant about lunar eclipses occurring back to back. They are destined to occur due to the orbital frequencies of the Earth and the Moon. However, this gets very interesting when we line up lunar tetrads with Jewish Feast Days (Passover and Tabernacles). Mark Biltz, of El Shaddai Ministries, stumbled across this incredible alignment in 2008 and was prompted to write the book “Blood Moons” to share his discovery. I encourage you all to pick up a copy and give it a read if you are unfamiliar with the Blood Moons and Mark’s discovery.
The Blood Moons discovery has received a significant amount of pushback from the secular and scientific community as they are not considering the alignment of lunar eclipses with the Feast of Passover (Pesach) and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). There is no “date setting” being done or needed as the alignment of Jewish Feast Days with the Blood Moon Tetrads is a matter of fact.
The incredible “coincidences” get even more amazing when we align the lunar tetrad eclipses, the Jewish Feast Days AND historical events affecting the nation of Israel. This cries out, at least to me, that we need to be watching what happens with the nation of Israel and also seeking God and praying for her. Every other blood moon tetrad going back to the crucifixion of Christ all coincided with some major event (usual not good) for the nation of Israel. Why should this blood moon tetrad be any different than previous ones? While many expect something significant to happen, this is shaping up to be the most unique blood moon tetrad since the crucifixion of Christ. There will not be another blood moon tetrad for almost 500 years. Wow! Do you think we can last as a civilization for another 500 years? I sense that God is getting ready to do something major with Israel and the world. This particular blood moon sequence is very special and suggests that something extremely significant is in store.
What is so special about this particular blood moon sequence? This was the first blood moon that was visible from Jerusalem where observant Jews were outdoors in their tabernacles looking up at the night sky during Sukkot. Of particular significance, is this final blood moon was a SUPER blood moon where the moon appeared 14% larger due to it being at its closest distance to Earth (perigee).
While researching the blood moons I came across some incredible visuals and analysis work graciously provided by Paul Grevas. He has his findings via his website (bloodmoonscoming.com) and YouTube channel. The perfect symmetry he discovered is utterly profound and removes almost all doubt that these are mere coincidences (for those with eyes to see). The Lord’s Perfect Sign graph floored me when I first saw it as no other blood moon tetrad in all of history has had any symmetry, let alone, the perfect symmetry seen here.
I suspect this event will never happen again so we need to be keeping our eyes on Israel and our eyes on the skies to ascertain what God is trying to say to us? I’m not a statistician but my instincts tell me there is something highly unique and special about this particular blood moon sequence…VERY special! God is screaming out His message to us from the heavens and is placing a signpost and marker in history. We need to be watching the apple of His eye, the nation of Israel, during this time.
We haven’t even gotten to the significance of this past year being the Shemitah year (Sabbath year) that just ended on Elul 29 (Sep 13, 2015) that included a major stock market correction a few weeks prior. Many believe we are also moving into a Jubilee year (which occurs once every 50 years) and happens the year following the 7th Shemitah of a 7 Shemitah cycle – 7 x 7 years). Even more incredible is this may be a Perfect Jubilee and very well be the 70th Jubilee since Moses was commanded by God to institute the Sabbath years and Jubilees. That will need to be covered in a future article. Are any of you getting excited yet for what God is planning for Israel and the world?
What does this mean for you and I?
“And it is appointed unto men, once to die; but after this the Judgement” – Hebrews 9:27
If you were to die tonight and face God for judgement for the things you have done and said in this life, how would you answer for the sins you have committed? We all need a saviour because we all have fallen short of the Glory of God. I encourage you to keep an open mind and soften your heart to the possibility that God is also trying to tell us something with these Blood Moons, Shmetiahs, Jubilees, and other signs and wonders He is showing us. More specifically, He may be speaking to you that you need to seek Him and get things right before it is too late. He won’t knock on the door of your heart forever.
