“O ye (Musilms) who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Qur’an 5:101-102)
“And there are among them illiterates who know not the → Book ← but only lies, and they do but conjecture.” (Qur’an 2:78)
“Say: O People of the → Book ← {Jews and Christians} ye have no ground to stand upon (((unless))) ye stand fast by the Torah [Old Testament], the Gospel [New Testament], and ‘all the revelation’ [Bible] that has come to you from your Lord [Jesus].” (Qur’an 5:68)
“And let the People of the → Book ← {Jews & Christians} judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.” (Qur’an 5:47)

All deity based religions teach people not to question. You can shut up any questioner with ‘god did it’, or ‘the devil made X do it’.
