A wagon or a super sonic modern vehicle are not robots. They are appliances to make our lives easier and to save time. The old ways are not always the best ways, which is why we constantly innovate to improve our lives. My wife would argue that if you want the old days back where the wife hand washed all the laundry, you can get off your backside and do it yourself. There would be massive trouble if robots were not used in eg, manufacturing to produce a high volume of goods that are affordable to the average wage earner. Barring a global catastrophe, a return to the dark ages isn’t going to happen.
