Charlie Sheen has been cured of his HIV! Or so says a doctor who claims to have injected himself with the Anger Management star’s blood and cured his HIV with goat milk.
In appearances on Dr. Oz and on Real Time With Bill Maher, Dr. Samir Chachoua claimed he not only injected himself with Charlie’s HIV-positive blood but eradicated the virus with another virus called CAEV, which he says he gets from the milk of arthritic goats.
“This virus destroys HIV and protects people who drink it for life,” he told Bill.
Samir, may we mention, is not licensed to practice medicine in the United States.
He also told Bill he had wiped out HIV (and chikungunya) in Comoros in 2006, saying, “I’ve cured countries!”
But he gave a conflicting interview with Dr. Oz three weeks ago, per Gawker, saying Charlie is “the first adult in history to go HIV-negative.” (Maybe he momentarily forgot all those people he cured in Comoros.)
Furthermore, even Dr. Oz, who has himself been accused of quackery, deemed it “pretty inappropriate” for Samir to inject himself with Charlie’s blood.
At the end of the Dr. Oz interview, Charlie pledged to go back on the usual antiviral HIV meds — an odd choice for someone who has been “cured.”
