(Before It's News)

First the pop-up tabs that can’t be diasbled, next the ad ‘price’ for reading EVERY ARTICLE…and now for the finale, ads before reaching the article!

Dare I write more?!  A few more lines and it will be covered with commerce…costing the reader aggravation, time, sanity.  Adieu.

  • Yes! Sadly over the years Chris and his team have gone way off the deep-end with ad serving. The ads were not so obtrusive, restrictive of navigation and irrelevant in the beginning but have reached a point that’s made B4IN nearly impossible to peruse and find good and relevant articles in a timely manner. I miss the earlier days of true user generated articles and not manipulated & forced articles to the top of lists (for a fee) talking about “nearly illegal tactical flashlights” We understand you need to maintain the service but this is ridiculous… stop with the greed! Bring the old B4IN back.

Second time posting this comment as now they even moderate the comments! So they probably won’t let this through either.

    • Thanks LTR for responding to my ‘Profit Powered News’ (formerly people powered news) rant

      • …how ya doin’ today little demon….?

      Download “Adblock”.

  • What ads?

Firefox + Ublock Origin = no ads

  • mitch51

This was bugging me and I was getting ready to leave BIN, too. These ads and the way they are displayed are going to be the death of BIN. Then, I remembered someone mentioning “Adblock”. I downloaded it, it took two minutes if that, and I have not seen another ad since, of any kind whatsoever. This ain’t an advertisement, here. Try it, you’ll be thanking mitch51, the government troll.

God Bless Adblock, It’s A Whole New BINNER World Without Ads!

    • God has nothing to do with AD Block ya numb-nut idiot!

  • I appreciate all of those temporary solutions — which are great for the hardcore binners — but ultimately that is NOT my concern: PROFIT-POWERED NEWS will [already does] discourage the free exchange of ideas, agreed?
