Did you mean the ‘dog’ star Sirius? There is only one “Day Star”, we call it Sol, or the sun. All other stars being night time animals.
“Day Star” refers to Venus, since it heralds the dawning of a new day when low on the eastern horizon. It is also called the “Morning Star”. Rev. 22:16 identifies Jesus as the Morning Star of prophecy.
