Too many people readily accept the mystery of the trinity doctrine as an essential teaching because self proclaimed ministers say it is so. Without the teaching of the Holy Spirit, men speak with their own wisdom which is dangerous and destructive.
The simple believes every word but the wise considers all things (Prov 14:15; Rom 16:18).
The genesis of the mystery of the trinity may be as a result of the obvious mistranslation from a verse many are familiar with. God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”.
When one removes the inserted words, let us and our, the verse takes on a completely different meaning.
One singular God spoke, not many Gods or persons.
The so-called mystery of the trinity does not add clarity to the nature of God, and it certainly diminishes the essence and Glory of Jesus.
1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
There is no real mystery of the trinity; God was manifest in the flesh, and revealed to the world as Jesus the Christ. Christ always was, is, and will forever be God.
Although one could refer to the manifestation of Jesus in the flesh as a person, it must be understood that he is unlike any other. He was not created from the seed of man, was sinless and had the power to rise from the dead unassisted (John 10:18). When one adds Christ to the name of Jesus, the mystery of the trinity dissolves. Christ is not a person, but is God, and death is not possible for an Eternal God.
John 4:24 God is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
The carnal mind is in opposition against God, for it has not submitted to the law of God, nor can it (Romans 8:7). It is this carnal mind that creates the mystery of the trinity.
1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
People generally speaking are attracted to the wisdom of men, especially those who have graduated from a theological seminary or college. Many religious leaders speak of the mystery of the trinity, or use words such as hermeneutics, exegesis or trinitarian theology. Congregations become enamored with the supposed superior spiritual intellect of these leaders, and their ostentatious words.

Without the Spirit of knowledge, mankind can not realize the awesome power of God. Also they are unable to discern between truth and fiction.

To come up with an interpretation of the sons of God and daughters of men referring to fallen angels, having sexual relationships with earthly women, is simply ludicrous.
Deut 14:1-2 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
The sons of God and daughters of men, also represents the children of God, and all others who were not the people of God (Exodus 6:7).
Job 1:1-2 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
The notion that fallen angels would be able to present themselves before God is ludicrous.
Hosea 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
To understand the sons of God and who this endearing term refers to, we only need to look at God’s own description of which people He considers His children.
Ex 29:45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
There is a clue early on in Genesis. The sons of God call upon the name of the Lord.
Most who subscribe to the sons of God and daughters of men theory, also believe in two separate creation events. The first creation is to be found in Genesis 1:1 thru 2:3. The second creation is apparently found in Genesis 2:4, and following.
Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
The fairy tale continues. Cain went and found his wife who was of the people of this first creation.
Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
The genealogy of the generations of Adam, Noah, Abraham and David do not include every one that is born. Out of these generations God would choose faithful men who were declared righteous through Christ (Luke 1:5-6, Rom 1:17, Heb 10:38).
Matt 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
The lineage of Cain who was taken by evil resulting in works of wickedness, is found in Genesis 4:16-23. You shall know them that are of the wicked one by the fruits they produce ( Math 7:17, 1 John 3:12, Jude 1:11).
Gen 5:1-3 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.

The sons of God and daughters of men, represent two very different genealogies. The generations listed in the above verse do not mention Cain, but his lineage would refer to the daughters of men.
Gen 5:21-22 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Enoch walked with God, so he was a child of God, and could also be referred to as one of the sons of God. The sons of God and daughters of men, represent those faithful to God, and those who rejected Him.
Noah found grace in the eyes of God, he was justified by and walked with God (Gen 6:7-13).
Gen 6:1-2 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
The sons of God and daughters of men, clearly define two opposing spiritually minded people groups. The sons of God were not to take the daughters of men, that did not know the only true God.
Ex 34:14-16 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
Gen 24:3 And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:
Gen 28:1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
The sons of God and daughters of men, do not represent fallen Angels creating a demonic hybrid group of people. The sons of God represent mankind that God created.
The sons of God and daughters of men -Were there Giants on the earth?
Gen 6:4-5 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Did the sons of God and daughters of men create giants? The word Giants is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, and is simply in reference to a larger or taller people.
Num 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Where there Giants on the earth? Yes they were very tall people, but they were just people.

The reference to the Sons of God is simply a description given unto those who walked with God. To proclaim that the fallen Angels are the sons of God is not supported by logic or Scripture.
Romans 8:13-14 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Romans 8:15-16 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Unless you consider Jesus Christ a liar, fallen Angels can never have sexual relations with humans.
Heb 1:4-5 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
None of the Angels were ever considered the sons of God.
Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Heb 1:13-14But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Angels are spiritual beings, and only God’s Angels are given the power to minister to his Elect.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
There is an incredible difference between the nature of man and Angels.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Luke 24:39-40 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

Angels are spiritual beings and do not have true physicality, except for when God allows it. Angels are God’s ministers to his people. The interaction in the physical or flesh, between the fallen Angels and humans, is not mentioned anywhere in Scripture.
Psalms 104:4-5 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
Heb 1:7-8 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

To imagine then that the fallen angels could become human, that is to be creators, and have sexual relations with God’s creation is simply absurd.
2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
There is nothing to suggest the fallen angels have any true power at all. The spirit of Satan may if invited enter into the heart of a man, but that is the extent of his power (Mark 4:15, Luke 22:3, 1 Tim 5:15, Rev 2:9).
Jude 1:5-6 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Rev 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The reference to angels is used 186 times in the New Testament, and only five verses are in reference to Satan and or his angels (2 Cor 11:4; 2 Cor 12:7; Rev 9:11; Rev 12:9).
There is not one verse in the entire Bible referring to any fallen Angel other than Satan, having any interrelation with God’s creation in a physical nature.
Gen 6:6-7 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
God destroyed mankind that He created, because of their wickedness. If there was a group of supernatural fallen Angels that created giants, He would have mentioned them as well?
