The path unto Christian Salvation, is realized through the true fellowship within the relationship between God and His Children. The Redemption received at Christ’s second coming is the true hope for all of mankind. Uncovering the spiritually discerned Truth in the Word of God, is the focus of the Christian Truth project.
1 Pet 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
The true hope that for the faithful follower of Christ, is not that we are saved, but that we can receive the knowledge of the assurance of our Salvation (John 6:54, 11:24).
Jesus Christ is the light of the world and those that follow Him in Spirit and in Truth, shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life (1 Peter 2:25; John 8:12; John 4:23).
Prov 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
In the darkness we need His Light to shine the Way; through His Holy Spirit, our path is indeed illuminated.
Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
It is the Spirit of God that dwells within us, that leads us to eternal life.
Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Romans 8:9-11, John 6:63).
The true fellowship within the relationship between God and His Children is only possible when the Holy Spirit dwells within us.
Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
It is the Spirit of Christ that enables us to discover the path unto Christian Salvation.
Recognizing the fact that you are simply a servant or slave to sin, and in desperate need of the redeemer, is one of the first steps unto Christian Salvation.
Romans 6:7-8 For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.
The full reward for sin without Christ the redeemer is Death, but the gift of Christ is eternal life unto Christian Salvation (Rom 6:23, Luke 21:27-28).
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Jesus Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and to those that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto, or with our Salvation (Heb 9:28).
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
The only ones, who can ever obtain the knowledge of the truth, are those who have a personal spiritual relationship with the Creator of all Truth.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
It is quite impossible to truly understand and obey the gospel of Christ, without his Spirit residing within you.
It is Christ’s Spirit of Truth that enables His children to hear, understand, and then trust in the Gospel unto Christian Salvation (John 14:17, 16:13).
The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God as they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (Rom 12:2; 1 Cor 2:14; Eph 5:6-7).
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Becoming transformed by the renewing of our minds through the Lord Jesus, enables us to be set apart unto Him.
The carnal mind will always fall prey to the deceptions, illusions and lusts of this present world.
The word transformed is in reference to a metamorphosis, and this is the description of a new life in Christ.
Christ’s Elect are transformed from obeying the lusts of the flesh, to becoming born again through the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to serve in newness of Spirit. Through this process we can recognize what is the acceptable and perfect will of God for us unto Salvation.
Through Christ’s Holy Spirit, we can have access to the spiritually discerned New Covenant truths of the Word of God.
This realization provides us with a sure hope unto Salvation, that we may receive at His second coming, if we faithfully endure.
When we submit to Jesus and believe in Faith with all of our Heart, mind and soul, we will be Sealed with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
This is the down payment or earnest, until our Salvation is revealed at His second coming. At Christ’s return the chosen ones will obtain immortality, incorruptibility and the reward of reigning with Him for a thousand years. As well the Elect will not face the judgment of the second death (1 Peter 1:2, Rev 2:11, 20:6, 21:8).
Therefore the evidence that the Spirit of Truth resides within us is when we are truly Born Again. No longer are we the servant of fear, doubt or deception.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
When the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from Jesus Christ, dwells in us, we can then begin to understand the Gospel message unto Salvation, and the peace of God which passes all understanding.
The Elect once sealed are kept by the power of Christ through an enduring faith.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. In whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest (or down payment) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
So then the true believers and followers of Jesus Christ are given the Holy Spirit as a down payment of a future inheritance. Our redemption is when Christ will transform our mortal and corruptible bodies. We will obtain immortality and incorruption, and this will complete the process unto Salvation.
