The Last Temple of God has Been Built

(Before It's News)

The statement, He as God sits in the Temple of God, is part of a verse that is one of the most misused and misunderstood; in relationship to both Prophecy, and the Christian Identity, which is in  Crisis.

The gross misrepresentation of this verse is used to propagate the false theory of a Jewish rebuilt temple in the last days.

There are actually two main verses used completely out of context to establish a teaching, albeit a false one for sure:

  • A Covenant that the Anti-Christ makes with the Jews (Dan 9:27).
  • A re-established temple for the Jews (2 Thess 2:3-4).
  • A reinstated sacrificial system (Dan 9:27).

He as God sits in the Temple of God Which Is The Dwelling Place Of The Holy Spirit

2 Thess 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Elect of Christ are His temple and He resides in them, through the Holy Spirit.

He As God Sits in The Temple Of God

There can never be another physical temple on earth made with hands, that Christ will dwell in without physically being present.

Acts 7:48-49 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,  Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

He as God sits in the Temple of God, is in reference to Satan dwelling where he ought not to.

During the Great Tribulation there are two references to where the temple of God is, one is wherever Christ is, and during this time it is in Heaven.

The other is within the true believer that has been sealed, set apart and Baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The message hidden to most in 2 Thess 2:4, is as follows. If any one worships the man of sin or Satan as god, then the temple or dwelling place in us that is designed and set apart for God, is occupied by this imposter.

So the phrase ” He as God sits in the Temple of God” is no longer a mystery. Remember Satan is the god of this world.

Satan imitating God, dwells in the place of God, showing himself that he is a god (1 Cor 3:16;  6:19; 2 Cor 6:16; Acts 7:48; 17:24; Rev 11:19).

Matt 4:8-10 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.  Then saith Jesus unto him,Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

The true message of the Gospel of Christ can only be understood by those who are Baptized with the Holy Spirit. The natural man can not receive the things of the Spirit of God. The Words of God are spiritually discerned, the carnal mind can not know them (1 Cor 2:14).

He as God sits in the Temple of God, is a true saying for so many who are of this world and blind to the Gospel of Christ.

2 Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Isaiah 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

The Elect not only understand who they are in Christ, but they are the ones to whom the inheritance is promised to.

He As God Sits in The Temple Of God

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

He as God sits in the Temple of God, has a dualistic interpretation then.

There are two parts to this verse. Satan seeks to impersonate God, and the place where the Holy Spirit should dwell often is occupied by him.

1 Cor 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Defiling the temple would be the act of opting out of Serving the Creator, Jesus Christ.

1 Cor 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

And He Shall Confirm The Covenant With Many For One Week

The  Beast will set up his headquarters in the holy mountain, which is in Jerusalem. During the time of the Great Tribulation, Jerusalem is referred to spiritually, as Sodom and Egypt (Rev 11:8).

Contrary to the popular teachings of a rebuilt temple for the jewish people, this will not occur. All of the deceived on earth will worship Satan and they will worship the Beast, he will not share the short time he has left, with a lesser imposter namely the Great Whore (Dan 11:45; Rev 13:4).  He as God sits in the Temple of God, represents a spiritual indwelling. Jerusalem will never have another man made temple (Zech 6:12, Rev 11:2).

The article regarding Daniel 9:27,  explains the true meaning of the covenant spoken of by Christ, click here.

This is just another example of the ignorance and deception within Christianity,  that has been infiltrated by the great whore.

The antichrist does not make this covenant, however Christ will confirm the covenant with many.

  • let’s wait and see if an actual temple is rebuilt on the temple mount…time will tell….

these arguments above are the same arguments people used before 1948 as to why there was no need for Israel to be re-established as a nation for the end time prophecies to be fulfilled….

God put Israel back in the land, so I guess that makes God some kind of biblical literalist (modernists and post modernists, please take note). This had to happen so the prophecies concerning Israel, Armageddon, and the Second Coming are all literally fulfilled. Why should this not extend to literal realities about an actual brick and mortar temple showing up on the temple mount?

  • .jknbt…differentiating between worldly and spiritual manifestations is becoming much easier to do, now that the polarity issues have been ‘unmasked’. I think the ‘literal’ IS the spiritual manifestation. The worldly reality is crumbling before our eyes, and death himself tracking everyone of us down with innumerable threats… we’re gonna have to face the facts. All prophecy is being fulfilled. The generation of the fig tree is nearing 70 years. Whatever interpretation we lean toward, the reality of this DAY, today, is going to have to be the major defining factor.
