That the United Nations World Heritage Committee is hostile to Israel’s connections to the Temple Mount almost goes without saying, but the body’s latest move can be viewed as nothing more than an attempt to “whitewash” Jewish and Christian ties to the holy site from history entirely.
According to The Times of Israel, the U.N. Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization panel voted with a large majority to accept a draft report regarding the Temple Mount in which it is only referred to by its Muslim names. Admit to Him that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, that you are truly sorry for your sins. Acknowledge that He died for your sins, rose from the dead and lives forevermore. Invite Him into your life and to help you to turn from sin. Rejoice! You just became a Christian! Now trust in Him and get to know Him through the Bible which tells us everything we need to know and through prayer/talking to Him. He eagerly desires relationship with you.
Well, since God destroyed that earthly Jewish temple in A.D. 70 for the wickedness of the Hebrews / Jews / Israelites who had rejected and crucified the Messiah, Christ, because He did not give them what they wanted, and they preferred to continue in profane animal sacrifices rejecting his perfect sacrifice for all time…. then that site is no longer considered holy by God, and no one else should consider it holy either. They wanted Christ to give them an earthly kingdom with the power of one world rule.
He had a different plan, one which would be an offer to all people of all nations to be able to come back to God through Him. Christ set up a spiritual kingdom, not a physical one. Everyone who wants to be reconciled to the Father in heaven must do so through Christ Jesus. There is no other way. As everyone is invited / called through the gospel of Christ, everyone has that opportunity now! THey have had the opportunity to be reconciled to God since Christ died on the cross in A.D. 30.
He doesn’t have to come back to earth to do anything else to perfect that plan. He has already done everything necessary, given us everything necessary for salvation. 2 Cor. 5:18; 2 Pet. 1:3. What else do you want him to do? Wasn’t His death on the cross sufficient? Wasn’t His coming in judgment against those who crucified Him and persecuted His church in A.D. 70 sign enough for you?
That dome on the temple mount is acting as an agent of God. He will not allow the Jews to rebuild a profane system of worship that denies Christ as the Messiah. Consider the actions of the UN as God’s message to you.
