All who are transformed by the renewing of their minds in Christ are a new creation. Those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit are the true Israel of God (Gal 6:15-16; Rom 12:2; 2 Cor 5:17).
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Gen 12:3).
This blessing was to Abraham, not modern day Israel! The blessings of Abraham come on all that have faith in Christ. The reason for this is that the promises were made to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Gal 3:14-16).
Apart from Faith in Christ and adherence to His New Law, there is no blessing to be had.
Romans 4:13-14 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
The Israel of God is clearly defined by the Words of God and the doctrines of men that attempt to disprove this should indeed be cast aside.
Gal 6:15-16 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Only those who are born again are the true Israel of God, and through the Spirit that dwells in them, a faithful walk with God is possible.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
When the Words of God and the doctrines of men are contrary to one another, we are to hold fast to that which is from above (Hos 4:1, John 1:14).
We are not to receive any teachings that are not of Christ; by rejoicing with the deceivers we join with them in their evil deeds. Furthermore anyone that denies the fact that Christ did indeed appear in the flesh has that wicked spirit of the antichrist, and is an adversary of Jesus the Messiah.
Because Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they understand their place and purpose with the Creator of all things. The Lord Jesus is our redeemer and our Salvation. The true Israel of God represents all who are in Christ Jesus. Those who continue in His covenant are indeed rightful Heirs of the Kingdom (Heb 8:6-10).
The great Christian identity crisis is to recognize the deniers of Christ that reside in the modern man made state of Israel, as the Israel of God. The Words of God and the doctrines of men must never be opposed to one another. Those that despise Christ who created all things are definitely chosen, but it is unto destruction (Col 1:12-18).
Jesus is God, and that being said, He also is our lawgiver. This truth is the reality that many religious groups will not come to terms with.
Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
After the advent of Jesus, it is impossible to be justified by the Old Testament Law that was given to the Hebrews. The Words of God and the doctrines of men quite often are very divisive. The New Law of Christ, is not only better than the old one, it is also the only one available (Luke 5:36-38, Heb 8:13).
Isaiah prophesizes of a people that would know the new law of Christ and it would be in their hearts and minds (Isa 51:4-7).
Jer 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
This passage refers to the whole house of Israel which includes all believers in Christ. Those that truly embrace the words of the Lord Jesus are most definitely not under the Old Testament law.
Christ also came to redeem those that were under the law, that they also might receive the adoption of sons (Gal 4:5, John 1:17, Rom 3:20).
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Christ declared that one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, until all that they spoke of would be fulfilled (Mat 5:18).
The Law and the Prophets were until Jesus, who fulfilled all things spoken of Him.
The Words of God and the doctrines of men if in agreement do not add to, or take away from the Word of God. Those who operate through the Love of Jesus will not bring evil to each other, and therefore love is the fulfilling of the law (Rom 12:21, 13:10).
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.
When we bear one another’s burdens, we fulfill the law of Christ (Gal 6:2).
Six of the commandments under the old law were unto doing no harm to others. The new commandment of loving each other is much greater than these.
The second commandment of the new the law of Christ is fulfilled in this; “thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Gal 5:14).
