An important teaching of Jesus Christ is the warning that many would come and use His name claiming to be of Him. These impostors would deceive many (Math 24:5).

Mark 13:5-6 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am (Christ and) shall deceive many.

In the verse above, there are two words inserted that are inappropriate.

1- The word Christ, does not appear in the original Greek

2- The word and, actually means also or as well.

The  message that Jesus is declaring is that, many would come in His name and say “I am with (Him) also”.

He that is not with me is against me, and he that does not gather with me causes the sheep to be wasted (Luke 11:23, John 10:12).
 
2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears
 
You shall know them by their vain or empty words. The false teachers preach a power point sermon, about a Christ they do not have a relationship with.
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
In this verse Christ is referring to the beast and the false prophet, that will lead many astray (2 Thes 2:9, Rev 19:20).

Only those who truly abide in Christ see this deception for what it is.

Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The Teaching of Jesus Christ – Beware of the Deceptive Teachings of Men

Jesus will say to many upon his Second Coming, “depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you”.

We are to cast off the works of darkness brought by the traditions of men, and embrace the true teaching of Jesus Christ. He is that light illuminating our path towards fellowship with Him.

Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

John did not baptize with water and expect immediate repentance, it would be a process.

Likewise sanctification and belief of the truth are unto the Assurance of Salvation, ready to be revealed at the last day.

This teaching of Jesus Christ is one of the essential doctrines of the Christian Faith, yet very few understand it.

Many false teachers proclaim that Salvation is accomplished through a formula of words to be recited.

The teaching of Jesus Christ tells us that the elect are sealed unto the day of redemption, which is when they receive their Salvation upon His Second coming (Eph 4:30; Heb 9:28).

We can have the Assurance of Salvation; however many who claim a false salvation that is based upon self-righteousness, and the gospel of men. These will be damned as a result of not truly living in or for Christ (Jer 17:13, Psalm 101:4, Mathew 7:15-23).

The teaching of Jesus Christ on the essential doctrine of Salvation, is that he who endures until the end will be saved.

The teaching of Jesus Christ regarding idolatry is widely ignored in the church today.

Without His Holy Spirit we can not know Christ, he can not know us, and idolatry is almost guaranteed to occur.

Idolatry involves everything in our lives that distracts us from worshiping and obeying God.

1 Cor 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

The teaching of Jesus Christ regarding those who claim to be pastors, but are merely false teachers that lead people astray, are widely ignored.

2 Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables

Christ is the head of the church and no man can legally take the title of Rabbi, Father, or Shepherd. Christ is our only Shepherd, and yet mere men are idolized today by many.

 

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voiceand there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

So often, the words of men become more import than the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Christianity unfortunately, has become just another religion to so many.

Declaring that god wants to bless us with the desires of our flesh is the new gospel presented by the false teachers in the Church. This is indeed idolatry, but it is widely accepted.

The teaching of Jesus Christ regarding taking up ones cross and suffering for Him has been replaced with the Pre-tribulation Rapture Deception.

1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

An essential teaching of Jesus Christ is that we are the temple of God. The Spirit of God however will not dwell in a temple that is unfit for his presence.

We must not defile our temple with idolatry (1 Cor 6:19; 1 Cor 3:16; 2 Cor 6:16).

The false teachers in the Church today operate in the flesh, and regard the things of the flesh.

They are in fact blind to the truth and purpose of this life which is in Christ. As a result of their guidance as it were, those that they teach also have a focus on material things and selfish desires. These people want a god that will accept their self righteousness and worldly pursuits, and still consider them holy.

False teachers in the Church deceive by omission; this is when they leave out the teaching of Jesus Christ to present their truth. This is also known as propaganda.

The false prosperity message from the mouths of the false teachers in the church is “If you ask and believe all things will be yours” (Mat 21:22).

So often we ask and do not receive, because we ask in the spirit of our own lusts.

    False PREACHERS shall come in FATHER Jesus’ name claining to be of Him?

    So destined you are attempting to infer that “iniquity” is simply “traditions of MEN”, —- LIAR!

    Iniquity is LAWLESSNESS so states from beginning to end the WORD of GOD.

    And then you compound error by stating “He is that light illuminating our path towards fellowship with Him.”

    Jesus Christ came to show us how to worship THE FATHER and HIM only, Christ did ONLY the will of the Father and told us we must so the same.
