President Donald Trump will give his first speech to a joint session of Congress Tuesday in the House Chamber in the Capitol Building. It is functionally the same as a State of the Union address — but it isn’t called that because a president’s first formal joint address is not historically given that title.

Instead of reflecting on the state of the United States in the past year like a State of the Union address, the first joint session speech is typically used to outline a new president’s goals for his administration.

What time is President Trump’s speech to Congress?

President Trump’s first joint address is scheduled for Feb. 28, 2017 at 9 p.m.

How can I watch President Trump’s speech to Congress?

All the major networks will carry it live.

The White House circulated 11 talking points about the president’s speech the day before his speech, saying President Trump “will lay out an optimistic vision for the country that crosses the traditional lines of party, race and socioeconomic status.” The highlights promised a focus on national security, tax and regulatory reform, “saving American families from the disaster of Obamacare” and education. President Trump also previewed his speech in an interview with Breitbart News, the alt-right website that was previously helmed by Steve Bannon, one of his top aides. Trump promised to talk about the border and strike an “uptone,” despite “the fact that I inherited a mess.”

  • On his point of NATO alone, Trump shows clearly that there is no more hope for the world and America.
The bulk of the cost for NATO members has always been : The unjust wars that America instigated all over the globe. This was not done for our safety .These wars were all fought for the gain of America and to push the globalist agenda. If NATO members had not supported the idiots in the Pentagon and White House they would never have gotten where they are now!!
Remember Hirosjima and Nagasaki Korea Vietnam Afghanistan Iran Iraq Egypt Lybia Somalia Georgia Ukraine Yugoslavia Syria .How many more will die because of the American delusional American Dream .Indeed make America great in pulling the world into total destruction. That evil empire now thinks it can take on the Russians and get away with it. If not within the next fortnight all and every major city in the US is wiped of the face of the earth. It will only be because the Russians have more sense and compassion and selfrestraint than America will ever have .
Yes NATO will have to pay more in the Trump scheme because America is so indebted it cannot pay alone for this last phase of the installment of the New World Order !!!
