Great deception within Christianity occurs as a result of biased interpretations, made by impostors that have an appearance of Godliness

Because very few even understand what it means to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, the great deception within Christianity does indeed flourish. The very first warning Jesus gives us regarding the last days is not to be deceived (Luke 21:8).

It is the Comforter that Christ sent that teaches us all things, and prevents us from following the deceptive doctrines of men. Far too many confuse the tingling sensation they experience from an entertaining well orchestrated cinematic like production, at a building called the church, with that of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

The great deception within Christianity is achieved primarily because of the false teachers in the Christian church that do not want their followers to discover the Spirit of Truth. False teachers in the Christian Church do usually present some truth in their sermons, but even a broken timepiece is correct a couple of times each day.

The self-righteous and hypocritical doctrines given by these impostors should prove that they deny the true power of Christ. However many want a messenger that will allow them to be comfortable in their sin; these simply wish to be lulled to sleep (2 Tim 3:1-9, 2 Tim 4:3).

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

False pretenses may be a statutory offense in a court of law, but when dealing with matters of spirituality they are quite deadly in their consequences (Rom 6;16-23, Rom 8:2, 2 Cor 1:9). The lack of spiritual discernment leads to the great deception within Christianity.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

If Christ’s Spirit does not dwell within you, then you are not one of His. Great deception within Christianity is achieved when it is widely held that to be filled with the Spirit, is an automatic occurrence when one claims to believe in Jesus, and partakes in water Baptism.

The great deception within Christianity is accomplished at the hands of the false teachers in the Christian Church that only regard the things of the flesh. They are in fact blind to the truth and purpose of this life, and are without the Spirit of Christ. As a result of their guidance as it were, great deception within Christianity occurs, as the multitudes that they teach also have a focus on material things and selfish desires.

These people represent the word sown amongst the thorns; they have created a god that accepts their self righteousness and worldly pursuits. Their god rewards them with health, wealth and prosperity. (Mat 6:18-28, Luke 6: 20-26).

2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The prophecies of the scripture are of no private interpretation. No individual or group has control over, or final authority on the correct understanding of what is written in the Word of God. This task is reserved for the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things.

Great deception within Christianity occurs because many people hold up false teachers in their Church to a god like level, convinced that they alone are empowered with the truth and understanding of scripture.

Matt 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Seduction is a favorite tool of the false teachers in the Church, who are professional manipulators. They use their voice, stance, confidence and image to grab the attention of a crowd and keep it. With almost a magical charm they can allure or captivate the audience with a hypnotic like manipulation of the truth.

2 Tim 2:15-16 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

It is easy to masquerade using a disguising pretense, and thus cloak or hide a self-serving agenda, under the pretext of operating as the servant or spokesperson of God (2 Cor 11:14). Great deception within Christianity is obvious when an audience receives the doctrines of devils and is left feeling comfortable and at ease. The end result of this charade is more revenue for these wolves in sheep’s clothing, and a deeper spirit of slumber and apathy for the listening audience

1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Christian believer must rely on the Holy Spirit to uncover or reveal Christ’s testimony, as His truth is spiritually discerned. Far too many have a false sense of reality and eternal security as a result of the great deception within Christianity, revealed through the deceptive teachings of men that are devoid of the Spirit of Truth. These charlatans, who are only interested in worldly pursuits, prevent their followers from growing in the Lord and having a true relationship with Him.

2 Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The false teachers in the Christian church deny the Lord Jesus by reason of their damnable heresies, and bring upon themselves and their blind followers swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1, John 16:7, Luke 6:39). In the lists below we will examine the great deception within Christianity by exposing many false teachings that are extremely popular.

The great deception within Christianity  Under the Old Testament Law

The New Law of Christ is found in Mathew chapter twenty two. The false teachers however, attempt to keep people under the bondage of Old Testament Laws that were given to Moses. This law was for the Hebrews, whereas Christ’s law is for all of mankind. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

 great deception within Christianity

Two of the origins of the great deception within Christianity, are as a result of the false claims that the Sabbath and tithing are still in effect. These lies are necessary for the continual multi-million dollar plunder of the masses. Christ never commanded His New Testament followers to keep the Sabbath, or to Tithe.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

The manifestation of Jesus to the Elect is the infilling of the Holy Spirit that enables them to fully comprehend His grace, love and new law (1 Peter 1:2, John 16:7).

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

A great deception within Christianity is in ignoring the prophets. Isaiah prophesied of the true followers of God; this people would know the new law of Christ, and it would be in their hearts and minds (Jer 31:33).

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Jesus Christ has brought forth the good or new wine which is the new covenant, last. The first wine which was the old covenant was not nearly as good. Also the first was fulfilled or completed in him on the Cross, and has vanished.

John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

The faithless religious leaders at the first advent of Christ did not keep the Old Testament law. After Christ it would be impossible to claim righteousness by the law (Mat 16: 6-12). To blatantly disregard the New Testament law of Jesus, or to try and mix the old with the new, is a great deception within Christianity ( Isa 51:6-7, Mark 2:21-22 ).

Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect

Man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. No man shall be justified by the works of the law (Gal 2:16). To claim righteousness through the attempt to keep the old law, is indeed a great deception within Christianity.

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Righteousness comes through Christ’s victory over sin at the cross. To make the claim of righteousness through the Old Testament Law is sin and deceit. By the works of the law there shall no flesh be justified (Rom 3:20). All who are in Christ, have been redeemed From The Old Testament Law.
