A number of cyber-attacks have crippled several websites associated with the Ukrainian government, after widespread allegations of a brutal police crackdown against peaceful protesters.

kraine’s Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has warned that the security personnel could use force to disperse protests after two nights of clashes that left hundreds wounded.

Despite the warning on Tuesday, protests and clashes ran into a third day, spurred on by the newly-introduced anti-protest laws.

Azarov told Russian television that if “provocateurs” did not stop, the authorities could act under controversial new laws that essentially ban large protests in Ukraine. MOREHERE
